Because board exams weightage is removed from this year so we can't say something sure..I can relate you from a fact--my jee mains mark was 203 but there was a lot of difference between my rank and one of the rank openers(around 160) because of board weightage …but still if I guess ,I think you should try for more than more then 200 marks

..I suggest you not to think about marks required for admission in PEC ,think about proper strategy for study..

So getting the admission you want is a bit tough.

There is no particular fee waiver for backward caste students. However after admission those students can avail scholarship schemes offered by the college. Educational loan can also be applied with the help of the college itself. However there will be no need of loan as the fees is already less.

It is hard to get PEC Puducerry with this percntile.As per your percentile and previous year cutoff, the colleges you get are:-

Well, basing upon your rank in JEE MAINS, you may get admission in pondiPondic engineering college but the minimum percentage of marks required in senior secondary examination for getting admission into an engineering college through Josaa counseling is 75 percentage. So you may not get admission into that college. You may apply for the state counseling to get your desired college.

For both UT of Puducherry students and other state(85% quota)studentss, cut off for various branches is finalised after the normaliztion of JEE Main and 12th board marks. But to be on the safer side, it is better to have around 95% in 12th board and around 140-150 in JEE Main. However for higher branches you may need higher marks.
