Hello Jagriti Mehra, there are no such rounds of counselling for 3year LLB course in punjab University. As they will release a final merit list in the third week of August, and the counseling for all the ranks and for Reserved category students. Best of luck.

Yes, each department generates the merit list based upon the Academic scores plus the PU entrance exam score.  there are a specific number of seats available for a particular course. For example, B.Sc Physics has 50 seats. If you get your name within top 1040 candidates in the merit list, then admission is guarantee

If you consider your practical rank for KCET then yes you can get the college in the 2nd round of counselling as the cut off drops down to 1500-2000 in the second round of counselling. I would suggest you just to contact college just once for further information related to admission.

In the second counselling, if there are not a lot of vacant seats, then the cutoff dipping to 498 has very slim chances. In PU BA LLB, both your merit in the 10+2 qualifying examination and your performance in the entrance test matters equally by 50-50% weightage. So, as of now, it seems that you have fewer chances of getting admission in the second round. However, don't lose hope and keep looking for other options while waiting for the cutoffs.

Hello Narayana, you have pretty decent rank in KCET, with that much of rank you are pretty eligible for most of the colleges out there, though you might not be able to land yourself in top-tier government college. But still keep some college as a backup plan. This will help you in long run. 

Sir i got 1094 practical ranking . Cut off for horticulture hiriyur is 998 . Can i get this college in 2nd extended round sir .
