    The cut off for BALLB in Punjab University in Chandigarh for the regional center of Ludhiana is 500 rank.

    according to your rank and previous year trends you can surely get admission in the college.

    Congratulations on scoring such a good rank.
    In University Institute of Legal Studies, there are 120 seats for BA/B.com LLB five year integrated course.
    As, you're from general Category, it seems difficult to get any seat there.
    Better, you may try for other colleges under Punjab University.

    Migration certificate in essential for pu BaLlb counselling or not??

    Hello Harpreet, 

    No, a migration certificate will not be necessary for PU BA LLB counselling 2019, however, these are the documents that are required - 

    • Marksheets of 10th and 12th
    • Birth Certificate
    • Character certificate
    • Gap year affidavit (if applicable)
    • Reserve category certificate (if applicable)
    • Gradation certificate issued by the sports department of Punjab University (if applicable)
    • Income certificate ( if you wish to apply under merit-cum-means freeship)
    • Demand draft in favour of the registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

    Ive rank 597 in pu ba llb & only intrstd in admn in ldh rgnl ctr. So do ive to still attnd the consling of chd. & hoshrpur.

    Hey Anjana.
    The counselling schedule for regional centres and Chandigarh campus are different. For admission in UILS Chandigarh the counselling is on 24th July and for regional centres the counselling is on 26th July. So if you wish to only take admission In Ludhiana then there is no need to attend counselling in Chandigarh on 24th.
    Also, for Chandigarh only ranks upto 540 have been called. So in any case you don't need to report there. You can directly report for Ludhiana counselling on 26th.

    Can students with rank above 1100 in merit list issued by PU also report and aspire as a wait list candidate ?

    Hey.
    The cut off for admission in Panjab University m, Chandigarh is not anything near 1100. For the first counselling only a ranks upto 540 have been called who will be considered for admission here. Also, this doesn't mean that all 540 will get admission here. All those from under the ranks of 540 who don't get admission in the First counselling will be waitlisted and considered for admissions in the subsequent counselling in case of vacancies. In any case the cut off doesn't go any close to 1100. A rank under 600 would have fair considering the seats have been increased too this year. So if you will be coming from outside of Chandigarh, there will be not much use especially because only ranks till 540 have been called. If youre from Chandigarh then there's no harm in coming if you wish to. But  your chances are less.

    Hey Vanshika.
    There are 9 seats for defence category for the course of BA LLB in UILS, Chandigarh. For the course of BCOM LLB too there are 9 seats which have been reserved for UILS Chandigarh. Hence if your rank in the defence category is 11. You seem to have a very good chance for admission in UILS Chandigarh.

    Hey Anjana.
    PU authorities have just recently issued a noticr regarding increased seats. But the notice is only in regard to UILS, Chandigarh and not the regional centres. Earlier there were 120 seats for BA LLB In Chandigarh and 120 seats for BCOM LLB in Chandigarh, which with the approval of the Bar council of India have been increased to 180 seats for each course. So the seats in the regional centres remain the same. 60 seats in Ludhiana and 60 in Hoshiarpur regional centre for BA LLB.
