The UPES college is situated in Dehradun. Doing an MBA in Power Management or Energy Trading will cost you Rs. 13.34 Lakhs total fees for 2 years. The placements, according to the alumni here, are pretty good with an average placement package of 4 LPA. However, they depend mainly on your skills as companies look for productive workers.

Hii Vasudha...First things first, UPES has a name for its domain specific MBA and so the domain focussed MBA are good. If you want to pursue MBA in oil and gas, power management or energy trading ( in this order of ranking for ROI) then you can do wonders and will have good ROI. Other MBA courses are also industry specific but the placements for them are not good. Average package for all you mentioned is 3-4.5 lakhs and maximum being 7-8 lakhs. Companies which visit this are

MBA in Power Management and MBA in International Business are two completely different programs. The basics of the program remain the same though. As you graduated in Electrical Engineering, it would be a professionally good decision to go with MBA in Power Management as you would possibly be able to use or mix your EEE knowledge with your management studies.
