Hey there!
It's okay to not score well there's still a lot of good options. Answering your first question, yes Computer Science and Engineering is a good branch with great scope but only choose that if you are genuinely interested. Secondly, yes presidency university is a good college but your choices should be dependent on what other colleges are available to you. For instance, if you get to choose between presidency college and Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering I'd recommend the latter.
Hello Souvik,
As your academic score is 397 out of 400 which is good, you may get admission in Presidency University in 1st merit list. But if your 12th marks is above 75%.
Best of luck!
I hope this helps you out, if you have any other query, please let us know, Till then stay home and stay safe.

Dear aspirant,
Hope you are doing well. As per your query CST and CSE may seem like same branch but is obviously different from lot of aspects. In CSE branch you will create machines based on this , learn new languages and then work on them whereas in CST which is sort of technical experts you are required to look at technical difficulty or errors in software or programme. Placements are quite same for both these branches. IT companies hire both CSE and CST. The former is hired by companies which create software and enhance in development of apps and software while CST are hired by many major companies as technicians. Please click on the link below for more information and updates. Hope you find this helpful. Thank you.
Hii ,
First of all CSE as the name suggests is related to software , language , apps right.
In this branch you are required to create something out of nothing like a system or apps etc
Whereas in CST you are a technical experts which are required to find errors and difficulties in the softwares created by the engineers .
Jobs options in CSE are limited but as a technical experts you have plethora of options to choose from .
They are not the same person but you will be hired by software companies in both options

Hello aspirant,
So in my opinion you can anytime check all the parameters of any college on the review section of carrers360 website written by the students studying in the college itself. also the choice of college depends on various factors like cutoffs of colleges, seats available, stream selection .you can check all the colleges available in your location on the careers 360 web page and can also compare various colleges on different parameters.
Happy learning.

Hi Aditya !! Hope you are doing well!! Placements in presidency university, Yelahanka are not great as per the previous years records. Some good companies do come and CSE studnets get hired but the average package is not very attractive. Still, if you work hard and get good marks and crack the interview, you can surely get placed.
Hello,
the Presidency university a massive 60 acres encompass world-wide educational facilities and Infrastructure. It is private university and highly top-ranked in Bangalore.
the presidency university claims that 95% placements with good corporate. highest package are 10 lpa by CTC.
It’s definitely a new University and its a State Private University. However, if your getting in through CET, the fee is lower. On the contrary, if you get in through Management Quota, the fee is too high.
overall it is the good university in CSE stream.
All the best!!!!!
