With this rank chances of getting seat through JOSSA councelling are very less.

You can go for other colleges like SRM institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, MIT Pune, Amrita School Of Engineering (Coimbatore), Symbiosis Institute of technology (Pune), Chandigarh University.

Hello Aspirant,

As per your information if you are a general candidate then your rank will be around 105000. With this rank it will be difficult for you to get high demanding branches in top colleges.

Cutoff varies every year depending on various factors. Keep in mind that your chances to grab a seat will vary on the following basis:

  • Number of seats available
  • Number of students applied for the same branch
  • Performance of the students
  • The category you belong to etc.

Smritijyoti99 11th Aug, 2022
Dear aspirant!

Qualifying marks for reserved category in neet 2021 was 108-137. Above which you have to pay certain amount of fees for any private colleges either you belong to reserved or unreserved category. It's difficult to enroll for free in any colleges.
Hope it's clear!

should I take a drop for Neet and I am scoring approx 210+ I have checked Allen answer key .... or Should I choose bsc / btech in private college?? By the way it was my 2 nd drop...

Aditya 10th Aug, 2022

Hello Swastika,

Well, looking at your score, it's but obvious that you'll not get any Government Medical College in India until and unless you belong to any PH/PWD category .

Further moving to your question regarding taking a 3rd Drop or not, I'll suggest you to first make out where did you fail to score better marks?

Possible reasons may be from the following :-

  1. Lack of practicing MCQs
  2. Unsolved Doubts
  3. Concepts are unclear
  4. Studying and learning error
  5. No dedication or consistency - this may be the last only.

So, after going through and understanding your mistakes that you have made in NEET 2022, then you should decide that do you believe and faith yourself that you'll improve in another 1 Year and will get a Government Medical Seat or not? If yes, then just go for it! Because believe me number of Drops and Repeats not at all matters . The thing just matter is level of your Hardwork, Consistency and Dedication you have in yourself that will make you a Future Doctor.

And also coming to the point that it's already your 2nd drop, then see you have seen that in these 2 years your score haven't increased upto the mark. So, if you've lost your interest from Studying MBBS then you can go for other options.

Also, by doing B.Sc. or B.Tech., that too has a good scope. But, you should not forget why you wanted to choose medicine.

Because, nothing matters bigger than what you WANT! We're here just to give you good suggestions to help you making better decisions.

Shreya Mukherjee 10th Aug, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Yes you can certainly sit for SBI Po exam or apply for other government jobs. The eligibility criteria for all government jobs and bank exams is :

Minimum educational requirements

Candidates must possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government or a graduate degree in any discipline from an accredited university. They must make sure that the passing certificate includes the date when the student earned their degree.

On a provisional basis, prospective applicants may also apply if they are in the final year/semester of their graduation. However, this is subject to the need that they present documentation of their graduation examination success at the time of the interview.
