can u provide me a brief idea about how the state couselling works ..how the seat allotment is done and how the reservation works ..i think the allotment becomes complicated when the state has both gov college and gov quota in private medical college ..please give me a idea

Bhavesh gupta 30th Nov, 2021

Hello student

hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query,  I would glad inform about the counselling procedure . First you have to fill choice filling in such a way that higher ranked colleges comes first (in which you want admission) and lower ranked colleges comes below . So at the time of counselling , from topest college in which ever you are getting from the choice filling list , admission will be alloted to you. If you have any reservation , then you will competite among students of that category which will give you privilege

Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future

my score neet 2021 is 270 sc category can I get any mbbs private medical college??

monstwerdash 28th Nov, 2021

Hello there , hope you are doing well.

See,as of now it's very difficult to predict the exact cut-offs as they keep changing every year depending on various factors like no. of students appeared, difficulty level of the question paper ,seat matrix and overall performance of the students . But we can have an idea of your probability of getting selected into your desired medical college based on previous year's cutoff scores and ranks through State quota .

From your profile,I see that you belong from Madhya Pradesh . As per NEET 2020 cutoffs of Madhya Pradesh , with a score of 270 there seem no chances for you to get a private college to pursue MBBS despite having and SC category. You atleast needed to score 400+.

It's advisable to you that you can either take a seat through management quota though the chances seem thin ,or you can pursue some other courses like BDS or Ayush but that too though management quota . Else you can also go for a drop and start preparing for NEET 2022 . Below you'll find some very useful resources to aid in your preparation for NEET 2022 .

You can have a better idea of the expected cutoffs by viewing the past year cutoffs through the link below:

i got 74 percentile then am i get private medical college

Aniket Das 28th Nov, 2021

Hello aspirant,

It's quite difficult to predict because cut off  depends upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the neet exam, kind of marks obtained by them, toughness level of the neet examination, number of seats available etc. You have scored  74 percentile in NEET. Yes, you can take admission in private college but not top private colleges as they require very high cutoffs. I would suggest you check for government colleges in your state as you can get a seat in reserved quota too.

What is the difference between Recognised private medical college and Permitted private medical college?

Vivek Kumar 26th Nov, 2021

Hi aspirant,  in short a student who has done MBBS/PG Degree or Diploma from a MCI approved seat cannot practice outside the state of the institute and those from MCI recognized seats can practice anywhere in India.

Recognized means – completed and satisfied the requirements for starting and continuing with a course of study (regarding infrastructure, teaching staff strength and their qualifications, facilities available to students, library, journals, conference room, amenities etc. so that students would not face any handicap in getting the standard of education prescribed by MCI.

Permitted — means one or two requirements are yet to be met and final approval pending. sec 10 of MCI rules permit this arrangement.

Thank You.

I am thinking of taking admission in a private medical college. is it too bad to do MBBS from a private medical college(Deemed University) after spending so much money ?

dishtiv 26th Nov, 2021
Hello aspirant!
Hope you are doing well.

See, It doesn't matter that you did your MBBS from Private college or government college at thr end.
If you can afford private medical college fees, you should go for it.
And also if your marks are not as much to get a government medical seat you should definitely go for deemed/ private medical college.
There is nothing like, private medical colleges are bad. It is just that you invest a lot but you don't get it back immediately. But if you can afford and you want to become a doctor only you should go for it.

So think wisely

Thanks and regards
