Do I need a domicile certificate for mbbs in U.P. private medical college ?

Smritijyoti99 15th Aug, 2022

Hello student!

For private colleges, any candidate who is an Indian and has qualified in NEET 2022 can apply. No domicile criteria applied for admission to private medical colleges through NEET. The private colleges also offer seats to Non-Resident Indians (NRI Quota). You can use the link below to find your expected rank and college.

Sir I wanted to know if can get any govt college with ews quota with 332 marks or is there any other option to get a private medical College which provides seats at lowest cost...

piyush263001 14th Aug, 2022

Hello,

With your expected marks in the NEET 2022 Examination, it wouldn't be possible for you to get MBBS seat in Government Medical College despite you being an EWS Category Candidate.

An EWS Category Candidate needs to score around 595+ marks to be on the safe side for seat in Government Medical colleges.

------ Also, to predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every year during Counseling depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2022 result

•  MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2022

------- Though with your expected marks you have godd chances of taking admission in Private Medical Colleges and Deemed Medical Universities. But the fees for MBBS course is quite high ranging from 12-18 Lakhs per year in Private medical colleges and around 20 Lakhs in Deemed Medical Universities.

Govt or private medical college with college rank and fee for NEET UG 2022 for 420 marks

Krishna Rathod 1st Aug, 2022

Hello there,

Hope you are doing good,

With the score you have mentioned above you rank could be around 155780-167590 in NEET. Since you have not mentioned your category, I consider that you belong to general category. According to previous year's cut off trends for general category candidates are required to score 600+ marks to get admission for MBBS in government college. So it will be really difficult for you to get admission for MBBS in government college. However there are many private colleges you can try to get admission in. You can try in semi government or private colleges through government quota. You can also try to get admission through management quota. List of top private medical colleges you can try to get admission :

Christian Medical College, Vellore

Kasturba Medical College, Manglore

St. John's Medical College, Banglore

MS Ramaiah Medical College, Banglore

KMC, Manipal

HIMSR, New Delhi

I ashmita sadhu from Bengal I expect 560 in neet.can I get sit in private medical College in govt qta

Aakanksha 30th Jul, 2022
Hi aspirant
At a score of 560 you can expect your rank to be around 49k-50k as it was in NEET 2021.
However this year may have a slight variation as the cut off changes every year. More or less it will remain the same.
You can predict your rank for NEET 2022 using our rank predictor by using the link provided here.
https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp

You can also predict your college using our college predictor tool with the link below.
https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

Now since you have not mentioned what category you belong to, I can't be too precise with the information.
However I can get you familiar with the closing ranks of different government colleges in West Bengal for the unreserved (general) category.
Nilratan Sircar medical college, Kolkata -7909

Burdwan Medical College, Burdwan - 11908

ESIC PGIMSR, Joka, Kolkata, WB-13565

AIIMS Kalyani - 4420

College of medicine and JNM hospital, Kalyani- 13750

North Bengal Medical College, Darjeeling- 13357

Sagar Dutta Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata- 11196

Midnapore Medical College, Midnapore -16578

Malda Medical College and Hospital, Malda -18040

Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital -17820

Maharaja Jitendra Narayan Medical College and Hospital Coochbehar -18057

Deben Mahata Government Medical College & Hospital -17776

As you can see, it is quite difficult for you to fetch a seat in the government medical colleges of West Bengal.
You can opt for provate medical colleges or can enroll yourself in BAMS/BHMS/Unani/BPt/Veterinary Sciences or BSc.
Hope this helps
All the best.
