how can i get government seat in private medical colleges neet marks 554 rank 43905 obc deemed University ki counseling krwani hogi ya alq ki please explain how can i get private medical colleges government seats

piyush263001 7th Feb, 2022

Hello,

First of All I should tell you that All India Quota Counseling, AIQ is conducted by Medical Counseling Committee, MCC.

------- MCC, Medical Counseling Committee conducts All India quota counseling for following seats -

• 15% All India Quota seats MBBS/ BDS Seats of States (participation of the Union Territory of J&K is subject to their contribution of seats),

• 100%MBBS/ BDS Seats of BHU,

• 100% MBBS Seats of AIIMS across India,

• 100% JIPMER seats (Puducherry/ Karaikal),

• 100% AMU

• 85% of State Quota seats of DU/ I.P University (VMMC/ ABVIMS/ESIC Dental),

• 100% -Faculty of Dentistry (Jamia Milia Islamia) along with 5% internal Quota of Jamia students

• 15% IP quota seats of ESIC.

------- MCC doesn't conduct All India Quota Counseling for Government seats in Private Medical Colleges. Though it conducts counseling for seats in Deemed Universities but I must tell you that annual fees for deemed universities is very very high (averaging 20 Lakh per year).

------ If you wish to get government quota seats in Private Medical Colleges then you will have to participate in your state counseling which in your case is Rajasthan.

---- Hence you should participate in Rajasthan state NEET counseling and then obtain seats.

i have scored 410 marks in neet ug 2021. which private medical colleges i cant get in maharashtra. also i belong to rajasthan state and a general category

piyush263001 6th Feb, 2022

Hello,

--------- I must informm you that there are closed states that don’t allow other state students to participate in their State NEET Counseling.

----- ---- In these states only state domicile candidates can take admission. Example - Maharashtra is one such state where only Domicile certificate owners can participate in state counseling.

------ Since you don't have domicile of Maharashtra as you belong to Rajasthan, you won't be able to get MBBS seat in Private Medical Colleges in Maharashtra . Though you can participate in ither state counseling such as Karnataka for private medical colleges.

Hello,

------ It would have been helpful for us to provide you with more accurate details of colleges had you mentioned your All India Rank and Marks you have scored in the NEET UG Examination.

------ Cut-offs for colleges change every year depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs for colleges is expected to increase compared to last year.
