the ranks cannot be predicted as it varies every year. for PG courses you need to give GATE and for Ug courses, you need to give JEE.

last year cutoff of production engineering At VIT,vellore was 50000. so you have good chances to get it at vit,vellore. and production engineering is not available at vit,chennai.
