If you want to make career in the field of Private sector then CSE or IT is the best option and companies also gives good packages to students.If you want to make career in government sector then Civil Engineering, Mechanical engineering,Electrical engineering is best option.If you choose branch from these (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) then you can also give IES exam which is conducted by UPSC. If you clear that exam then you will directly get government job.

Dear GokulrajThis depends on your choice of department u choose.Mechanical,ECE,EEE are highly competitive groups and u have get 199+ cut-off(depends on your community also !). CSE,IT,CIVIL needs 198+.And the remaining departments 196+/197+.The campus placement is really the best thing here..The companies just flood in like in any other college.CSE and IT students will have most of the companies open for them.

PSG College of Technology does not take admission on the basis of JEE Main's rank. The admissions are conducted through TNEA Counselling and the application process is governed by Anna University. You'll have to visit the university's official website to check the application process. Counseling for the year 2019-20 has already begun and the result of round one is already out.
