There are two ways to join PSG TECH,

Through Anna University Counselling, provided you have good cut-off marks. During counselling there are two type of seats available for PSG Tech, not sure about other colleges. One with Government Sponsored Seat, the other one not sponsored by Government. The main difference

Admission in PSG college depends upon their Cut off criteria and eligibility rank. PSG college will update their counselling process once JEE main 2018 result is out which is expected to release at 6 pm today. Closing Rank for each course also depends on the college.

If the college in which you want your son to get admission has ex-servicemen quota and your son gets the cut off marks. Then surely he can get admission in the college under ex-servicemen quota.
