PSGIM UT MBA, yes it is different, in normal MBA, both the years are done in the same campus in Coimbatore. For UT, First year in Coimbatore and the 2nd year in University of Toledo campus in USA. You'll do your course there...

The college life at PSGIM is completely fun filled. The professors are very friendly and they teach through active learning methods. The college provides many extracurricular activities and encourages us to participate in all competitions. The infrastructure of the college is good enough. There are good recreational facilities in the campus. Sports are encouraged here. They bring the best manager out of us.

Yes, you can give TANCET and get admission to PSGIM but need to fulfill some other eligibility criterias for both of them.

TANCET MBA Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates from a recognized university with a bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% (45% for reserved category students) in qualifying degree examination can apply
• 10+2+3 years' or 10+3 years diploma + 3 years pattern of stiudies
• B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharm couses to be completed
• 10 + 2 + Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) OR 10 + 3 years’ diploma (awarded by the state board of technical education) + AMIE*

PSGIM MBA Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks and either TANCET score, MAT Score or CAT score.
• Candidates with minimum 2 years of work experience and a recognized Bachelors degree in any discipline with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate are preferred(Must for persuing MBA Part Time).
• Selection to the programme is based on TANCET/MAT/CAT/ATMA scores. The final selection will be based on Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

PSG TECH provides decent campus placements and if you are from circuit branches mainly Electrical, electronics, Computer science, and information technology departments the placements are quite good.

Considering 2017 placement activities at PSG College of Technology, DE Shaw and Arcesium offered the highest pay of around 24 LPA and recruited a decent count, followed by Amazon, Texas Instruments, Caterpillar, 24/7, Oracle, Thoughtworks, and a lot more companies with more than decent pay.

The average salary is between 3 lpa - 29 lpa.

SURE!PSG College accept score of entrance exam like MAT,TANCET etc..Cuttoff of TANCET for PSG college changes each year as cuttoff score depends upon number of applicants and level of paper.I am sharing cuttoff of Tancet for PSG college of year 2016:For General cuttoff score was around:70;For SC cuttoff score was:54;And for ST cuttoff was:67.

The rules of PSG or criteria are as below:

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates with a recognized Bachelor’s Degree (with or without industry experience) in any discipline with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate.

Entrance Tests: CAT/ MAT/ TANCET preferred

Specializations offered: Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Systems and Operations.

Hi Akshayee! Yes, you would have to separately apply for PSG Institute of Management or any other participating colleges for CAT or XAT. Unless it's IIMs or XLRI, where the application can be done in the common form for CAT and XAT respectively, you would have to apply separately for each programme of the institute/s.
