First of all the college will depend on your category .In general it will be bit difficult to get psit kanpur but till the last round you will get it and you will get miet easily. But if you have any reserved quota than it will be very easy to get cs in psit and miet.

Dear Preet, if it is regarding a seat under Management Quota, you should contact the Administration of PSIT. Your current college might have some regulations about leaving your college. But the best thing to do is to reach out to the Administration.

As per the academics are concerned it is a good college, the faculty of the college is good and helpful.

The attendence criteria is very strict and is set it 90% which is very high(normally colleges require 75%) and you will be fined if you are unable to maintain that.

Its training department is very good and prepares you for Aptitutde tests genrally conducted by many companies to get a job from the 2nd year itself, placements are also good.

As you have said that you didn't got a seat through Counselling in PSIT. So if that's the case you can ask the College for direct admission as they provide seats through management quota. But lesser chance of discount on basis of your UPSEE score. But if you scored well in 12th or in JEE mains.then might be that they will provide you scholarship.
