• As per students reviews, there is 80 to 85% placement in computer science department but others department placement 60 to 70% in Raj Kumar Goel institute of Technology . Many reputed companies come there for recruitment. The highest package offered was 6 LPA. The Placement scenario is good for computer science and IT branch but for civil and mechanical it is like impossible. The college doesn't provide internship opportunities, you have to Get it by yourself.

• Placement record is excellent among all the UPTU college having almost 100% placement record for CSE and IT branch and 95% placement record among all the final year students. Top MNC like Infosys TCS LTI Capgemini Wipro are campus recruiter and giving descent salary package. Though the college doesn't provide any internship opportunities, but recent years it is trying to get some paid internships. The Placement scenario is also better for civil and mechanical branches as compared to other colleges.

Congratulations on your performance in UPSEE. Well, the prediction of colleges with respect of your rank depends upon the category you belong to and also if you are from home state as home state quota is aaplied too. Based upon general merit and home state quota, getting computer science and engineering or information technology in Pranveer singh institute of technology, Kanpur seems tough according to last years closing ranks and your rank might be insufficient to secure a seat. You might try in other colleges.

PSIT and SRMU both the colleges are approved by UGC.In rankings PSIT has got good ranking then SRMU,also the placement of PSIT is good as compared to SRMU.

So according to my opinion both the colleges are good but PSIT is better.

I will suggest you to go for Abesec Ghaziabad Because It has good infrastructure, placements and academics. Abesec is well known for their academics. Abesec is constantly getting 1st rank in aktu from the last 6 semesters for their academics. While it Kanpur has only a wide area campus comparing to Abesec and they are not in the race of top 10 colleges of uptu. …….In last I will strongly suggest you to go for abesec if u want good academics and placements.

Yes, PSIT is one of the reputed institutes under AKTU. The placements are also commendable. The companies like infosys, TCS, tech mahindra, capgemini, lava etc visit the campus on yearly basis for recruitment. The average package may lie between 3-4 LPA whereas there are students getting 8-10 lpa too. This depends only on how much you are skilled.

according to the recent trends and ratings PSIT kanpur is a much better choice than MMMUT Gorakhpur, the campus life campus quality and faculty are much better than that of MMMUT gorakhpur. Also PSIT Kanpur is considered the best pvt college in UP with the facilities and placements it definitely is a better option. 

According to several of my friends, NIET Noida is the best institute for Placement in Delhi, NCR. So it's probably advisable for you to try for this college if it's placement that majorly concerns you. ITS, UGI or PSIT are also great colleges, and you should try for all of these, but I feel, you should try for NIET. All the best!
