Yes  now, you need to choose code 3 as you have passed from karnataka board

This is because,

Karnataka board i. e The Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka offers Puc

And,

code 3 says it is for those passed their   intermediate   / pre- degree examination i. e pre university

See there is not any fixed amount of questions that can be asked from 1st PUC but the syllabus of KCET is totally based upon the syllabus of PUC 1st and 2nd so you have to read the complete syllabus and the proportion of questions from different chapters keep
