Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing well
It is difficult to predict the cut off marks or ranks but according to previous year trends your expected rank would lie between 121819 - 131202 but it may vary every year depending on the following factors
1. Level of question paper
2. Total no of candidates
3. Category of candidate
4. Total no of seats
5. Marks obtained by students
Here is the link for the expected marks vs ranks
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank
As you are from general category so according to the 2019 cut off for various government colleges in punjab were as follows
1.Government Medical College, Amritsar - 523marks
2.Government Medical College, Patiala - 537 marks
3.Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot - 518 marks
So from this trend you don't have a chance to get seat in government college but you can get private medical colleges

pdwords Student Expert 13th Sep, 2021
Hello,

If your query is regarding NEET, then as per 2019 cut-offs 518 marks secured a seat in guru gobind singh medical college and hospital, faridkot hence your chances to secure a GMC seat in less though you may have chances for government BDS in government dental college and hospital, patiala and punjab government dental college and hospital, amritsar. This is completely based on previous year data, and cut-offs are subjected to change every year based on various factors such as seat matrix/total number of candidates appearing for NEET/reservation/difficulty level of the exam etc, you can also explore more detailed information regarding your admission possibilities by using our NEET College Predictor at https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

I have got 591 marks in NEET 2021. General Category, What are my chances of getting government seat in Punjab or elsewhere ? What is my expected rank ?

pushpachoudhary7413 13th Sep, 2021
Hello aspirant

Hope you are doing well

Your expected rank would be between - 24534-29770

And according to previous year trends you have very high chances of getting govt. Medical colleges like government medical college , amritsar
Government medical college , patiala ,guru gobind singh medical college faridkot etc

as cut offs change every year and there are various aspects related to that like
1. No. of candidates
2. Demand for that particular college or university amongst the candidate
3. Level of exam
4. No. of seats etc.

But don't worry

sir,I got 69.5 percentile in JEE mains 2021 with 296360 rank.General female punjab.can I get any nit or iiit in punjab

Anurag Khanna 20th Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See as per your CRL rank you have very less chances to get any of the NITs or IIITs because the CRL rank closes around 40 -50K for NITs in JOSAA counselling and you are very very far from this figure .

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Now if you appeared for JEE-Advance 2021 then you must have got your result so to have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon JEE-Advance 2021 score you can use JEE-Advance College Predictor:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-advanced-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

JEE-Advance 2021 cut-offs are mentioned below :-

>>> Common rank list (CRL) - 10.0 (Minimum percentage of marks in each subject) - 35.0 (Minimum percentage of aggregate marks)

>>> GEN-EWS rank list - 9.0 - 31.5

>>> OBC-NCL rank list - 9.0 - 31.5

>>> SC rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> ST rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> CRL-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> GEN-EWS-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> OBC-NCL-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> SC-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> ST-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> Preparatory course rank lists - 2.5 - 8.75

Now if you are not in the race of JEE-Advance then I would recommend you to either go for private colleges or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck for your future!!

Dear aspirant,

As you have secured 40k rank in neet pg 2021 let me tell you that it's quite difficult to predict about the exact situation but on a general basis it would be difficult to secure a seat in government college as the cut offs stays much higher.

However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
