Hi Parag, it depends upon which sector you are getting placed, whether it is private sector or government sector. Generally in private sectors the initial packages start from around 25-30k onwards and goes upto 1-1.25 lakh per month. Whereas when it is a part of government sector, the salary may start from 40-45k and goes upto 1.5 lakh per month based on the performance.

First you need to get a bachelor degree.Then you will have to begin Working as a Quality Assurance AnalystAand thats very important.You will have to be a good observer and good listener as well as learner.Gain lots of experiences as that will help a lot.
And then get a Master's Degree and after that you will be ready to become Quality control analyst.

It depends on the industry, which you are interested to work with. But as far as I’ve seen, most of the cement & steel industries prefer a chemical engineering or M.Sc (in chemistry) background. If you’re interested to work as a QC personnel in industries related to public health like packaged drinking water, food & beverages etc. then you might go for a degree in micro biology or biotechnology.
