According to last year cut offs, for ENT, you have a chance in Dharbhanga Medical College. For Opthamology with this rank, you cannot get a Government College. You can get a PG Diploma seat in Santosh Medical College. This is a Private College. You can get a seat in MD Raadiology in Shree Balaji Medical College. This is all based on previous cut offs. But cut offs also change every year. To check options for your home state, check our college predictor:

scope of DNB radiotherapy in india

TANUJ JAIN 21st Feb, 2020

Radiotherapy is a branch of costly instruments and facilities. Most of the government colleges lack it.

In case of DNB institutes, as they are mostly corporate sectors, they provide those instruments. So, it will indeed be a good choice.

Just choose the Institute wisely.

All the best

after bsc radiotherapy i want a job so what can i do

Deblina Roy 8th Nov, 2019

Dear Aspirant,

Radiation therapists typically do the following:

  • Explain treatment plans to the patient and answer questions about treatment
  • Protect the patients and themselves from improper exposure to radiation
  • Determine the exact location of the area requiring treatment
  • Calibrate and operate the machine to treat the patient with radiation
  • Monitor the patient to check for unusual reactions to the treatment
  • Keep detailed records of treatment

Radiation therapists operate machines, such as linear accelerators, to deliver concentrated radiation therapy to the region of a patient's tumor. Radiation treatment can shrink or remove cancers and tumors.

Radiation therapists are part of the oncology teams that treat patients with cancer. They often work with the following specialists:

  • Radiation oncologists are physicians (https://collegegrad.com/careers/physicians-and-surgeons) who specialize in radiation therapy
  • Oncology nurses (https://collegegrad.com/careers/registered-nurses) specialize in caring for patients with cancer
