Generally MSRIT has very low fee compared to any other colleges.

We cannot be very clear about that why it is like that but one reason is that MSRIT gets funds from some of the private institutions.And so the cost of expenditure will be less for infrastructure and other facilities compared to other colleges.

And to answer your question, firstly both the colleges are good and they are among the top 10 colleges in Karnataka. Both the colleges have good faculty, placements, best education, hostel facilities and cultural activities etc. Coming to ECE department, according to the review BMSCE ECE department is slightly better than MSRIT ECE department. But both are equally good and there is no doubt about it. And fees in BMSCE is slightly higher than MSRIT. So, you can choose the college which is near to your place, so that it is easy for you to travel.

Dear applicant firstly out of the different streams selected by you, let us discuss about them. Although now-a-days CSE branch has better placement records than Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Telecommunication Engineering. But it depends on you whether you are actually interested in Computers or not, because your hard work will be reflected during your placements. As per placements PES University is the best among these, although all of these colleges have good infrastructure and faculties but the median salary packages offered by PES University is 4-7 LPA but MSRIT is also good if you think of your campus life, it would be amazing.

Dear applicant out of the two selected colleges of yours first let us discuss on RVCE, overall a very good college with improved infrastructure, good faculties, great facilities, placements with salary packages from 7 LPA to 9 LPA and more. MSRIT is also a wise option but if you consider the fee structure the placements will not satisfy your expectations. But the teachers are really good. Now if you think of your curriculum, Electronics and Electrical Engineering would be the better one from RVCE. Hope it helps,
