Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore
Hello,
Yes go for technical branches like CSE, if you are passionate about technology. CSE has always been strong, which obviously demonstrates the great job opportunities provided by this course. I would definitely suggest you to choose CSE in NITs. Jobs wise CSE is very good for you as it has abundance of jobs. If you are not interested in ECE, then I request you to please don't choose ECE, almost 80% students who took ECE don't stay in their core sector, they either move to Tech core sectors or going with MBA, this can be of any reasons like less opportunities in that sector or something else. Most of the students after completing ece, they join in Software sectors as software developer/ Application developer or etc. In a matter of fact, after ece one will have a great scope by qualifying gate for the entry to PSUs. But CSE had not much opportunities when compared to ECE. You can also observe that cutoff rank for cse will be comparatively less than ECE. So the student who had less rank will get seat in CSE. There are abundant of Job Openings for B. Tech in CSE. Some of best on going domains in CSE are
1. AI , Machine learning
2. Full stack Web Developer
3. Cyber Security /Ethical Hacking /Penetration Testing
4. Block chain
5. Software Development Engineer (SDE)
Hello Aspirant,
Based on your rank and previous year trend you can definitely get BMS college with CS or It branch and in MSRIT it is difficult to get any seat which you want so you can go for counseling and try to get this college because trend is based on previous year trend and trend changes every year.

Hello aspirant,
Hope you're doing well.
Btech in mechanical engg is a four year full time undergraduate course offered to the students interested in mechanical sciences. Eligibility for the same is 10+2 with at least 75 percent aggregate in physics chemistry and maths subjects.
Coming to your query, i think Ramaiah institute of technology is better than chandigarh university for mechanical engineering. As, the placements are better there. Also, it is ranked much above chandigarh university. Although CHD university has a better infrastructure and a 200 acres campus, but placements are better at MSRIT. Median salary at chd university is 4.25 LPA, white at msrit, it is around 5.3 -5.5 LPA. I also compared both of these colleges. You may follow the link below for further assistance.

Dear Aspirant,
Taking into consideration the past year cutoff for MSRIT the COMEDK cutoff for CSE and ISE are 1131 and 1700 respectively in the first round. So it seems a bit tough but as far as the other branches like ECE,Electronics,Mechanical,Chemical, etc. But if you are focused on getting into technical branch then you should consider colleges like Bangalore Institute of Technology,J.S.S MahaVidyapeeth for CSE branch.Hope you now have some clarity about your choices.Best of luck.

Dear student,
MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology is among the top colleges of Bangalore after RV College of Engineering.
The placements records are also very good and definitely you can invest in this college and it will be beneficial for your career.
Now you are asking about the investment then ,it is quite clear that you want to know the fees structure of MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology along with its hostel fees.
Now the fees structure for BE / BTECH courses for comedk non Karnataka students are as follows :-
For Non Karnataka Students - Rs. 705520 in four years .
That means if you are a non Karnataka student and want to take admission on basis of your Comedk rank , then you have to invest Rs. 176380 per year on your tuition fees.
Now, coming on to the hostel fees, then the hostel fees will depend on you, that which type of hostel that you will choose or of what category of hostel you will choose.
Basically there are five hostel categories in MSRIT.
So, the hostel fees (on basis of hostel category) in MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology per year are :-
Hostel category (Fresher Square) - 90000 Hostel category (NRI Square) - Rs. 110000 Hostel category (G Square) - Rs. 75000 Hostel category (East Point) - Rs. 100000 Hostel category (North Point) - Rs. 115000
So your total investment in four years would be -
Rs. 705520 + { 4 × (hostel fees based on which hostel you have chosen)}
Yes, if your rank is enough to get into the institute then surely you should, it is far better than many NITs and many government colleges of India. The best thing about the Institute is the city, Bangalore is tech hub, apart from this, is your overall development and the exposure you will get which is required at the time of interviews. So, definitely, without a second thought.
Hello Rahul!
MSRIT is one of the best Engineering colleges to study in. It is ranked 59th best engineering college in India. The college has excellent placement records with 95% of the placement figures. The infrastructure of the college is really good with good hostel and campus facilities. The faculty too is considerably good enough. The college hosts a number of cultural events too and you will meet people from various diversities. There are a lot of clubs in the college which actively engage in various academic related activities, fests, competitions etc.
Overall, it is a very good college. You can read the reviews here

Hey there!
Congratulations on your ranking. Coming to your question it really depends on the branch you want. M.S. Ramaiah and Dayananda Sagar both are great colleges but Ramaiah has a slightly better ranking but then again the branch you'll get there is civil. If you want to pursue civil go for Ramaiah and otherwise Dayananda Sagar is a great choice too.
