total 4 years investment in Msrit Bangalore for comedk students outside Karnataka

ARYAN SAGAR 30th Sep, 2020

Dear student,

MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology is among the top colleges of Bangalore after RV College of Engineering.

The placements records are also very good and definitely you can invest in this college and it will be beneficial for your career.

Now you are asking about the investment then ,it is quite clear that you want to know the fees structure of MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology along with its hostel fees.

Now  the fees structure for BE / BTECH courses for comedk non Karnataka students are as follows :-

For Non Karnataka Students - Rs. 705520 in four years .

That means if you are a non Karnataka student and want to take admission on basis of your Comedk rank , then you have to invest Rs. 176380 per year on your tuition fees.

Now, coming on to the hostel fees, then the hostel fees will depend on you, that which type of hostel that you will choose or of what category of hostel you will choose.

Basically there are five hostel categories in MSRIT.

So, the hostel fees (on basis of hostel category) in MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology per year are :-

Hostel category (Fresher Square) - 90000

Hostel category (NRI Square) - Rs. 110000

Hostel category (G Square) - Rs. 75000

Hostel category (East Point) - Rs. 100000

Hostel category (North Point) - Rs. 115000

So your total investment in four years would be -

Rs. 705520 + { 4 × (hostel fees based on which hostel you have chosen)}

I not get nit college, can I take admission in Msrit Bangalore for better future .

Nitya 26th Sep, 2020

Hello,

Yes, if your rank is enough to get into the institute then surely you should, it is far better than many NITs and many government colleges of India. The best thing about the Institute is the city, Bangalore is tech hub, apart from this, is your overall development and the exposure you will get which is required at the time of interviews. So, definitely, without a second thought.

rachanapbennur 26th Sep, 2020

Hello Rahul!

MSRIT is one of the best Engineering colleges to study in. It is ranked 59th best engineering college in India. The college has excellent placement records with 95% of the placement figures. The infrastructure of the college is really good with good hostel and campus facilities. The faculty too is considerably good enough. The college hosts a number of cultural events too and you will meet people from various diversities. There are a lot of clubs in the college which actively engage in various academic related activities, fests, competitions etc.

Overall, it is a very good college. You can read the reviews here

What I take I confused Msrit Bangalore = civil , Chemical Dayanand Sagar college = ECE , Machenical .

ritikaprasad.work 25th Sep, 2020

Hey there!

Congratulations on your ranking. Coming to your question it really depends on the branch you want. M.S. Ramaiah and Dayananda Sagar both are great colleges but Ramaiah has a slightly better ranking but then again the branch you'll get there is civil. If you want to pursue civil go for Ramaiah and otherwise Dayananda Sagar is a great choice too.

What should I take in these ECE = Dayanand college of engineering Civil engineering = Msrit Bangalore

S. Abhishek Sagar 25th Sep, 2020
Hello aspirant.

According to the comparison between campus both as similar but the few in MSRIT is comparatively less than Dayananda Sagar college. Both are the same in academics, comparatively, the average placement salary is better at Dayananda Sagar College. NAAC score is also high for Dayananda Sagar college than MSRIT.

According to future opportunities, ECE has more number of opportunities than Civil hence I would suggest youu to opt ECE in Dayananda Sagar College.

You can also compare colleges on the Careers 360 website.

In msrit Bangalore which branch should I take for good Placement in these and also good for future scope. 1. industrial engineering. 2.civil engineering . 3. chemical engineering

Dhruv 25th Sep, 2020
Hello, it depends on your interest in which field you are most comfortable.

Also, in my opinion I will recommend you to go with chemical engineering as it is a very good branch and has better scope of placements than other two branches.
If you go for higher studies after doing Chemical engineering then it will be good for you to get a good placement.

Msrit Bangalore average package to max package of civil branch

saurabhkhade4699 25th Sep, 2020

Hello Rahul,

Civil department doesn't get enough placements even at top notch institutions like IITs etc,As far as MSRIT is concerned, they were only 2 companies on the board for civil in 2019-2020. Among 140+ Students, only 4 got placements that too in a non core branch.Overall I can say is, don't expect placements from civil engineering. Do it only if you want to go for higher studies, govt job, family business in the construction field and placements scenario is one of worst in this department.

Current i am getting lnmiit CSE, iiit kota ECE, msrit EIE. which one is better?

ojaswiyolo Student Expert 24th Sep, 2020

Hey Mayank

I will brief you up on all the three options so that you can decidefor yourself as to which one is better.

LMNMIIT- It is an excellent college. The faculty is well qualified and the curriculum is good enough to prepare the students for the industry.Almost 90-95% of the students get  placed in CSE department. The average salary package offered for this year's batch ranged between 10-12 Lakh per annum

IIIT Kota- The infrastructure of this college is amazing and so is the faculty and the course structure. The highest package and placement percentage is of CSE department but around 75% of the ECE department students get placed too.  The average package is around 8 Lacs. whereas the highest package goes to 29 Lacs.

MSRIT- According to some of the students only a few core companies(You get around 8 to 9 core companies ;and around 8 cgpa to qualify) visit the campus. To get placed one will need to learn  C, C++, Python Script, Java. The infrasturucture is really good and the course curriculum as well as the faculty is student friendly. Even though the placement percentage may be low  the highest package from instrumentation technology in TCS was almost 32 lacs per annum.

Kritika 24th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

yes most of the colleges and companies allow to sit in their placement exam irrespective of your department. If you are able to learn CSE basic and core subjects properly with coding, then definitely you can sit for placements with cse students and get placed.
