i have scored 116 . can i get cse in RVCE, BMSCE, MSRIT

Palak kumari 24th Aug, 2020

Hey,

With 116 marks your rank would be  in a range of 2k-4k and seeing previous year cutoffs, you might get CS in MSRIT and ECE in RVCE and EEE in BMSCE but every year the cutoffs vary so maybe this year too.

Hope it helps.

Good luck.

NILUTPOL Student Expert 23rd Aug, 2020
Hello,
With this marks in COMEDK UGET 2020, your rank would be expected to be around 1700 to 2000. With this rank, you have quite some chances of getting a seat in MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology. You might not get CSE, but you will get other branches.

You can also go for some colleges such as
  • Sir M.Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology
  • Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering
  • SJCE College of Engineering
  • The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore
  • NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology

Will i be allowed to change my branch from medical electronics to computers in msrit?

bassiakshita 15th Aug, 2020
Hey aspirant ,
Branch change is allowed at MSRIT.
But some rules need to be followed. To change your branch to Computers you need to have a good score /CGPA.For branch change relative CGPA is taken into account.
Work hard in the initial year of your degree if you are serious for branch change. Also this process and CGPA is affected by the no. of available seats in the branch you desire.(Also make sure that the branch you desire for has seats for your category too) .
Also medical electronics branch would see a boom in years to come because of increasing need of health care facilities and ever increasing technologies.Currently the scope is not fairly high.

Hope that helps you.
If you have any doubts ,you can ask in comment section .
All the best.

I want CSE branch in MSRIT through COMEDK. How much should I score in COMEDK?

S. Saha Student Expert 13th Aug, 2020
Being one of the best Engineering colleges, the cutoffs of MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are quite high. Moreover, CSE and IT seats are filled faster than any other branches. Also the cutoffs change every year as it depend on various factors. Now you haven't mentioned your category, so considering you as a general category student, you need to secure a rank within 1000 if you are looking for CSE in MSRIT. And scoring 1000 rank in COMEDK is not tough if you are enough prepared. You need to score around 130 out of 180 if you want CSE there. Focus more on important chapters in last days. Your concept must be cleared. You can make short notes on the topics that you have find difficult to understand. Once done with the syllabus and concept clarity, you should move towards solving previous years papers. Give mock tests as much as possible. Time management is one more important thing you should look upon. Remember that practise will increase your efficiency. Give at least two mock tests every week. Then analyze your weak parts and work on them.
