Hi Shantanu! Both the colleges are good for CSE . But if we compare both the colleges on the basis of placement and syllabus there is slightly difference between two. As in last what actually matters is placement so I am giving you the suggestionn on the basis of

MS Ramaiah institute of Technology has got excellent placement records. The college gives best recruitment towards IT companies. Many Big companies compete to recruit the young talent in this College. The college doesn't give enough opportunities for Core Branches.

As you get 117 marks in comedk your rank will be a three digited for sure ( around 300 - 400 ).

MSRIT comes under VTU and is an autonomous college under VTU so, this college jsutvtakes its student from only KCET and ComedK.
They don't accept JEE Mains marks.
