Usually, 3 percent reservation is given for PWD candidates for Group A, B, C, D direct recruitment jobs. In this one percent is reserved for people with disabilities such as

• blindness or low vision
• Locomotor disability
• Hearing impairment

In case of low vision, a person is visually impaired even after treatment and is capable of using additional vision aid for the execution of work.

One can apply for government jobs only if a person has not less than 40 percent of relevant disability. Meaning anyone above 40% disability is liable to apply for reservation under PWD.

To avail of this reservation, you have to submit a Disability Certificate. A Medical Board will issue this certificate after a thorough examination of the candidate.

Talking about your case, i f you have a minor vision problem, it shouldn't be a problem. You can apply for government jobs. In case the visual impairment exceeds 40% you are liable to apply under PWD with an authentic Disability Certificate.

No you will not be eligible to apply for DRDO recruitment process for scientist B post because to be eligible you will first have to complete your graduation with at least First Class Bachelor’s Degree only then you will be able to apply with a valid GATE score. So you cannot apply in 3rd year of b.tech for DRDO. You can use your 3rd year GATE score for later year of DRDO recruitment too. So even if you get less score in the GATE exam which you will give it in your 4th year you will still have a chance by using your GATE score that you give in 3rd year. But unless you complete your B.tech you will not be eligible.

MBA (HR) does have placements abroad after completing your post graduation or if you are talented enough , you might get a Pre-Placement Offer too. After recruitment in a company after post grad , depending on the firm and it's need they can transfer you abroad also. If you perform satisfactory according to the company needs and ask to go abroad they might recruit provided the company is a MNC and has foreign branches.

So BTech from most(not all) of the college does provide you a job through campus recruitment if you work hard for it and is dedicated towards it . AMITY and VIT can be of same standards, that is of no doubts but there are many other factors which are to be considered which leads VIT ahead. The faculty members in VIT are better than AMITY in terms of experience and teaching standards. VIT takes a lot of money but VIT have very good infrastructure and the education experience you will have there will worth money. Also the placement rates can be equal for those but as per VIT's data, VIT have 91% placement rates. But if you comprehend the average package offered then obviously its higher that AMITY.
