I heard that OEC category students are eligible for unavailed seats under SC ST category.........Then to get the reservation, which category should I choose......There is no such option as OEC in the application of NEET or KEAM...

Ayush Pandey 20th Nov, 2020

Hello dear aspirant,

Yes for OEC-SC category you will get the reservation as it is Other Eligible Category- Schedule Caste and it comes with the same reservation benefits as Schedule Caste.. So you dont have to worry, just focus on your studies and you will get good college.

Hello

Other  Eligible Communities are the communities which have been recommended to include in the state SC list and ST List . Hence the OEC’s are grouped in OEC (SC) and OEC (ST).
