iam given class 12 exam in oct 2019 and result delared in Feb 2020 and I give improvement exam in 2020 can I elegible for jee advance 2021

Anurag Khanna 24th Aug, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Unfortunately, now you cannot appear for JEE-Advance 2021 because your passing year will be considered as 2019 and according to the rules you was only eligible for JEE-Advance 2019 and 2020 and that too only if you have secured 75% in class 12th boards and also qualified JEE-Main then but now for this year even JEE-Main's last attempt is remaining only and with 2019 passing year you would not be eligible for further JEE-Main from now onwards, so if you have registered yourself for JEE-Main 2021 upcoming attempt then this would be the last attempt of yours for JEE-Main.

For more details regarding JEE-Advance eligibility criteria kindly check out the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 3rd Oct, 2021

Hi

You don't need to worry at all dear for your neet 2021 results or anything even if you are 25 year old or more.

This is because,

As of now there's no upper age limit for neet .

For your reference

Here's the eligibility criteria for NEET :-

-----------) Qualification required :-As per Neet eligibility to be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination  or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English as core subject.

†††Important Note :- Students with Biology as an additional subject are also provisionally eligible for neet until Supreme Court gives its judgement over it.

-----------)  Percentage required :- You must get

  • at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category

  • at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

-----------)  Age limit :-

  • Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet  one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination .

  • Upper age limit :-The upper age limit  is 25 years as on the date of neet examination and there's relaxation of 5 years for obc ncl/SC/ST /PwBD students means upper age limit is 30 years for these categories.

†††† But since 2018, the case of upper age limit is pending in supreme court , and so there's no upper age limit as of now until supreme court gives its judgement over it.

-----------) There's no attempt limit for neet.

I attend jee mains three attempts and get 92,90,88,percentile respectively. if I do not attend fourth attempt then will any effect on result or qualify for advanced because I fill up the form of fourth attempt. what should be min. qualifying percentile in jee mains to attend jee advanced.

Anurag Khanna 23rd Aug, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

No even if you don't appear for JEE-Main 2021 fourth session even after registering for it then also you are not going to loose anything and your best percentile in all the attempts for which you have appeared, is 92 so accordingly your result will be made.

How the final result will be calculated for those who are appearing for more than one attempt of JEE-Main 2021 :-

> The best out of four JEE Main scores will be taken into consideration for final result.

> All India rank in JEE Main 2021 will be allotted to you on the basis of your best of four percentiles. Let me make you clear with an example, suppose you have got 90 percentile in first attempt, 92 in second, 89 in third and 94 in fourth, so your final result will be made by taking the best result which is of 94 percentile so your final percentile would be 94 and ranking will be given to you according to it.

> As per your category, if you belongs to any reserved category then you will have CRL (Common Rank List) Rank as well as category rank of your respective category.

The final result will get declared after JEE Main May session.

For complete details about JEE-Main 2021 Result kindly check out the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-result

Based on previous year's cut-off trends we can help you with the expected qualifying cut-offs for this year :-

  • Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95 Percentile
  • GEN-EWS - 70- 75 Percentile
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 70- 75 Percentile
  • Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45 Percentile
  • PwD - 1-2 Percentile

Now on the basis of above table, with 92 percentile you have good chances to get qualified for JEE-Advance 2021 but still we have to wait for official release of cut-offs.

Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2021 but expected on the basis of previous year's analysis. You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

bsc computer engineering or btec civil engineering ? which is better ? I have took an admission of bsc CS in farook college , and I am waiting for keam result. I got 37 marks in keam under SC reservation and 1117 marks in +2 . what should I choose ? which have better scope for future ?

nilangemeghna 1st Oct, 2021

Hello ,

If you are more interested in civil engineering then that is good for you.....

The same goes for b.Sc computer engineering ,means if you have interest in computer side then that is also good for you.

Both branches or courses are good but It's all up to you that in which side you are good and more comfortable.....

Nowadays the scope is increasing in both these branches.....but on thing is if you start with civil engineering ans then start you own private sector with proper management and experience then this field is more profitable than computer engineering.....

Here I'm describing the difference between b.sc computer engineering and b.tech civil engineering

B.sc computer engineering

With increasing interest and technology of Computer Engineering ,the scope in this branch is increasing with the evolution of data science, big data, artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The software publishing industry is also poised for growth (software publishing is a main focus of computer science degrees).....

In this field ,job chances are higher than civil engineering with high pay scale and wide range of companies such as computer hardware system companies, computer networking companies, software development companies, academic institutions and many more....

Computer education in India is so important that people who do other degrees also do additional computer-based certification courses to add value to their degree....

B.tech Civil engineering

Civil engineering is known for to the stream of engineering that primarily deals in construction and designing.civil engineering has been and will always remain one of the most relevant and demanded professional fields....

With few years of experience, civil engineer can earn upto average INR 10-15 lakh per annum.Civil engineering is a domain of studies that offers opportunities for quick appraisals in career....

Civil Engineering accounts for most of the employment in the engineering field in india or foreign...

A civil engineer can opt to specialise in one of their fields, or they can pursue entrepreneurship or management opportunities. Civil Engineering is a highly profitable profession, with the best minimum pay or salaries of any discipline....

Hope this helps

All the best for your Future !
