I wrote JEE-MAINS -3rd phase exam on 22.07.21. So far result is not declared. Last date for submission of SASTRA -BE/BTECH -2021 is 31.07.2021. Is there any extension in submission of on line filled application? Kindly inform. B.V.D.S.KARTHIKEYAN, AP

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 29th Jul, 2021

Hi Aspirant!

There is no extension in submission on Sastra University Application form 2021. The last date to submit the form is 31st july 2021, if you wish to apply for admission in Sastra university, then you must do it before the last date.  SASTRA is revising its engineering admissions for 2021, with 50 percent of seats based on Class 12 scores and the remaining 50 percent based on Class 12 and JEE Main Scores given equal weightage.

If you get good rank in Jee mains and getting good college than Sastra then you can quit the seat in Sastra (however, it might cost you a certain amount of fee, if paid).

Hope I answered your query, thankyou!

Can we withdraw seat from Pes University(ece) 2021 if we also submitted TC,12th etc...and or wait for comedk result 2021 ?

Akanksha 6th Sep, 2021
Hello

If you have already taken admission in PES university and submitted all your documents to college then you cannot get refund for the same. If you have just confirmed your seat in PES councelling and then if you are waiting for any other entrance exams then you can surely cancel your seat and get refund for the same. You can take admission in same university through different entrance exam if you are sure about getting that college.

Hope this helps

I am final year graduation student and I am preparing for neet 2021 .which subject code should I opt for? I dont have first year graduation original admit card though I have the result of it and all the other related original documents of graduation what to do at the time of document verification

Subhrajit Mukherjee 28th Jul, 2021

You didn't said about the subject combination of your graduation. Now as per your question you can use any of the three codes based on your case:

  • Code 3: An aspirant can choose this code if the aspirant have passed Intermediate/Pre-Examination degree in Science stream from any recognized Indian University/Board or other body with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as a compulsory subject. The qualifying examination should also include a practical test in the mentioned subjects.
  • Code 4: An aspirant can choose this code after the completion of pre-professional/pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English after passing either the Higher Secondary examination or Pre-university or equivalent exam. The qualification of pre-professional or pre-medical examination should compulsorily include the practical tests in all subjects.
  • Code 6: Any aspirant who has passed B.Sc. examination with not less than two subjects which includes Biology/Biotechnology, Physics and Chemistry can choose Code 6 from NEET qualification code 2021 as their eligibility code. Further, such candidates must have passed Class 10+2 qualifying examination with English, Chemistry, Physics and Biology/Biotechnology.

Now if you don't have this kind of combination in your UG then you have to use the code 2 as you will be accounted to be a dropper.

The code 2 is for those students:

  • Completed 12 years of school education from CBSE/ICSE or any other boards with the last 2 years having the subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, or Mathematics or any other elective as a major subject .
  • Students who have passed from NIOS/other open schooling board with Biology/Biotechnology as one of the subject in 10+2.
  • For the droppers.

I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!

if i have a backlog in diploma and the results not release during admission process in btech will the college wait till my backlog result come?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 28th Jul, 2021

Hello,

Candidates who are in the final year of qualifying examination are eligible to appear for entrance examination or apply for admission to second year B.Tech through lateral entry. Such candidates must obtain the results and the requisite certificates before the admission. They must pass in all subjects. Such candidates are provisionally admitted but if they do not pass in the qualifying examination or failed to provide requisite certificates on or before the cut off date the admission stands cancelled. So if you fail to provide the certificate before the deadline you will not be eligible to get admission.
