Hello, I have filled up the basic info for profile but havent confirmed the profile details to proceed for admission for masters because I havent finished my bachelors. Should i wait till i get my bachelors result or confirm profile details right away? Kindly please advice. Thank you

Subhrajit Mukherjee 6th Aug, 2021

If you have been selected in the list for admission, then you should take the admission or else your application will be rejected and your seat will be provided to the ones who are in the waiting list.

See after you are shortlisted the student takes admission as a Provisional student and after that when you submit all your marksheet and verification occurs you become the student eligible for the university. So you have to take admission, else you will miss your seat out.

I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!

I have secured 93.33% in HSC Maharashtra state I wish to take admission in engineering can u suggest me good college Im computer science field or I have to wait till. mhcet exam and result or I can directly take adm

Sai Kiran K 6th Aug, 2021

Hi Aspirant.

As you secured 93.33% in HSC, unfortunately it won't add any weightage in MHCET rank. The Eligibility for MHCET is minimum 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 from the recognised board of Maharashtra, MHCET is the common entrance examination for engineering in Maharashtra. There is no way to get direct admission on the basis of 10+2 since last year 2020. We will provide the list of top government Engineering Colleges.

  • ICT Mumbai - Institute  of Chemical Technology.
  • COEP Pune - College of Engineering.
  • VJTI Mumbai - Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute.
  • GECA Aurangabad - Government college of Engineering.
  • GCE Karad - Government College of Engineering.
  • Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vishnupuri.
  • DBATU Lonere - Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University.

yesterday's News update states that students can get admission without appearing for MHCET examination based on merit scores or percentage in 10+2. You will definitely  get admission in top colleges of maharashtra as you have secured good percentage. All the best for admission. Hope you find this information helpful. I have attached link below for top colleges , course , fees and  other details.

Is class 12 board exam result ever considered in neet ug or neet pg or in foreign exam like USMLE. Is it enough to get 85 percent in board exam or is more marks need for an admission in India or abroad

ktarakadivvya 4th Aug, 2021
Hi Aspirant

  • Class 12th board marks are not considered in NEET, but for applying NEET you need to secure minimum  50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. For General category it is 50%, for PWD it is 45% and for OBC,SC,ST it is 40%.
  • For PG or USMLE also 12th marks aren't considered.

As you are asking that 85% in 12th board exams are enough or not, yes it is good enough to be eligible for NEET exam. You can surely take the NEET exam and others by having 85 and above percentile. And your NEET result itself will be considered during admission for college. Only the respective entrance exam result will be considered for any Admission in colleges across India or Abroad.

Hope this information is useful for you. Feel free to ask more queries.

All the best!!

Aditya 3rd Aug, 2021

Hi aspirant,

On calculating the best of four subjects without physical education, your percentage would be 93.25 and if we replace physical education with the subject you have scored lowest, it increases to 94.75. In both the cases, your chances are good and a seat for BA in English could be obtained at colleges under DU.

Hope it helps!!

Sharon Rose Student Expert 22nd Jun, 2021

Hello,

The cut off is determined based on total number of candidates appeared for MET in Phase 1 and Phase 2, difficulty level of examination, total number of seats available, total number of candidates applied for counselling. It doesn't change for the candidates who have appeared for retest. It is difficult to predict the cut off for this year before thr counselling because it depends on the above mentioned factors. The cut off list will be published by the authorities at the end of the Counseling. The final result and rank list going to be out by the fourth week of June 2021 tentatively. To check the schedule you can click on the link below

Karamvir Singh 22nd Jun, 2021

Hi,

Yes, you can do that. Mostly the results for class 10 for most of the boards, are released in the grading system. Also, each board releases its factor of multiplication. You can multiply by the given factor and obtain your percentage from the grading scores.
