what is my crl rank in jee main 2021 in 90.9 percentile

Shrishty sahu 8th Mar, 2021
Dear student,

If you score 90.9 percentile in jee mains then according to the previous years trends your rank at this percentile would be around 65,000 to 70,000. These estimations are just based on the previous years trends and may vary from year to year as they depend on various factors like difficulty of the examination, number of students that attempted the examination, etc.

why preference of chemistry is less as compared to physics and maths in percentile of jee mains ?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 9th Mar, 2021

hi,

see preference is not less for chemistry in jee main. the questions structure is as follows:

mathematics- 25 question ( 20 MCQs and 10 numerical ques out of which 5 is must)

physics- 25 question ( 20 MCQs and 10 numerical ques out of which 5 is must)

chemistry- 25 question. ( 20 MCQs and 10 numerical ques out of which 5 is must)

so there is equal weightage is given for math, physics chemistry. while you are preparing for jee main you should give the same priority to each subject. however for tie breaking rule maths number is considered first, then comes physics and lastly chemistry. you may use btech companion guide by careers360 which would help you to do self study :

my NTA score is 85.11 in JEE main Feb 24 shift 2. I have EWS Category. any chance to get admission in any NIT?

Shrishty sahu 8th Mar, 2021
Dear student,

According to the previous years trends the corresponding rank for this percentile would be around 1,45,000- 1,50,000 and at this rank it is almost impossible to get admission into any nit. However these estimations are based on the previous years records and may change from year to year as they depend on various factors like difficulty of the examination, number of students that attempted the examination, etc.

But, here are some of the other colleges that you might get at this percentile:
  • GGU - Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya
  • Mizoram University
  • Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology
  • Tezpur University - TEZU
  • GKV - Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya
  • Dr. S. S. Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology
