There's not much role of your 12th marks for getting into law schools but yes you should get at least marks enough to be eligible for entrance examination .
For example, to be eligible for CLAT you must have passed your 12th board exam with at least 45% marks
Hello student yes this is very common as student get failed because of 1 marks in board examination. You need to score atleast 33 percent in your paper to get passed, 33 marks for 100 marks paper and 23 marks for 70 marks paper.
