Hi Anmol, in my opinion, CV RAMAN BHUBNESWAR would be a better option for you. Considering all the aspects like faculty, campus, placement etc CV BHUBNESWAR looks overall the better option for you.

It also depends on which branch you want to study.

I suggest you to research about both colleges and branches and then decide what suits you best.

Hi Aman ,
Yes there is a great chance for you to take lateral entry so I would suggest you to check out the previous year cutoff and ask from some of the college authority by asking yourself by doing a telephonic call as they will tell you the correct cutoff
For more queries do check your cutoff for the branch

Hello

CV Raman college of engineering is one of the best engineering colleges in odisha. It is best in CSE and electrical branches .It is the best college in bhubansewar.

Infrastructure- The campus is vast ,widespread and green.there are many lawns.eachdepartment has it's separate building.classroom and labs Infrastucture is good and highly equipped with state of the art equipments. ItHostels- many new hostels- have come up.There is separate hostel for girls.Many students get single rooms in 1st year.mess food is not bad but adjustible.students from bihar,jharkhand,chattisgarh mostly study.Academics- the primary focus of the college is academics.The whole year good quality teaching takes place. Yes! Teaching is really good. , especially in CSE,special training is provided to everyone.Exams- exams are very strict.The attendance rule is very strict.You get debarred from any exam if you don't have 75%attendance.Internal -1 is online,internal-2 is of 60 marks written,and semester is of 100 marks.checking is also strict.Placements- The pre placement training and other SSEPL training provided helps getting well placed.If you are from CSE then you will definitely be placed(unless you have severe backlogs) in around packages of 56 lacs.Other branch students will get around 3.25 lacs .The highest package goes around 10 lacs that too from CSE.Overall CV Raman College Of engineering ensures that you study everytime.They have a CDAC which is not there anywhere else in odisha.The CDAC certificate ensures that you get good placements.The CDAC teachers are from outside give good training.The training and discipline which CV Raman provides is the best part of the college.these make sure your career goes in a good .CV raman provides ample opportunities to the students.The students will get success in the long run provided if they utilise all opportunities. **If you study regularly, attend classes ,then you will surely enjoy your btech 4 years life in cvraman.

Hi anmol,

Your general rank is sufficient for getting CSE in sir CV Raman college of engineering . You must go through online counseling procedure and fill the CV Raman college of engineering in choice filling process, after that wait for completion of online counseling and you will get CSE branch in CV Raman college of engineering.

The motto of CV Raman college of engineering is "quality education for new millennium" it is a private college and established in 1977.

Very Bad management, staff behaviour with parents and student is very very bad for out sider non Oriya students. All Hostel management staff are iresponsible and rough behaviour. Non Oriya students, Do not admit in this college.

Very high fee structure. Money minded management. It is better to go GITA Bhubaneswar.

I got, 60.89655630 percentile in jee mains exam and, 85 percentage in board exam could I get seat cv raman for general caste on cse branch

Hello Sharath,

I am sorry to say ,but with this percentile in JEE Mains you are not eligible to get a seat under general category. To get a seat through JEE Mains, one has to clear the desired cutoff as per his/her category. You might be able to get a seat if there are avilable vacant seats or if you apply through OJEE(Odisha Joint Entrance Examination). Below I have listed 2019 JEE Mains cutoff category wise -

CRL : 89.75
GEN-EWS : 78.21
OBC-NCL : 74.31
SC : 54.01
ST : 44.33
PwD : 0.11

Each and every year, lakhs and lakhs of candidates appear for JEE Mains examination. Due to high pressure on the server during the time of announcement of the results, often the case arises where results are not shown at the time it's supposed to be. Youu just need to be patient with that.
