How is MBA in retail management at BIMTECH, Noida ?

Priyanka Shahane 15th Jan, 2019
Hello Kush,
The overall review of BIMTECH - Birla Institute of Management and Technology located at Greater Noida is as follows:
  • Placements:
As the institution has a good relationship with the alumni, placements in the college are great. The institute provides numerous placement opportunities in various companies like KPMG, EY, Accenture, Aditya Birla, Amazon, etc.The average salary package offered is around 6-7 LPA.
  • Infrastructure:
The academic building is quite good. However, the campus is not that big. The college provides facilities like a residential hostel with twin and single share rooms, a cafeteria, Cafe Coffee Day, reprography, tuck shop, a parlour, gardens, bus transportation facilities, etc. The library is amazing, with a great ambience. There are hostel in the college campus itself to accommodate all the girls and 2nd year boys whereas the 1st year boys will be accommodated in RCI Vidya vihar hostel that is 1km from the campus.
  • Faculty:
Faculty members in BIMTECH are excellent. They all are Ph.D. holders and qualified well for the job. When you compare BIMTECH faculty members with other top b school faculty members like IMT ghaziabad you can surely see the difference. Teaching methods are very innovative in BIMTECH.
Hope this helps.
All the Best.

Which is best of these in BBA courses, retail management or IT systems

shreyapandey96 Student Expert 11th May, 2018
Hi Aathi
Greetings

Specialisation in BBA should depend on your interest and aptitude. If you have interest in Computers and probably took CS/IP in High school then go for BBA IT SYSTEMS) else go for any other option. There are many options like Project Management, Operations and Retail Management. Scope of any of these is unlimited!

Thanks
All the best.

can retail management and marketing student can sit in marketing placement as well in itm navi mumbai?

zubin916 1st Apr, 2018
For ITM Navimunbai, placements have been integrated from past few years.
Hence opportunity is almost equivalent to both streams and companies hardly target any one particular branch.
Moreover, companies prefer diversity from different branches to get good creme crowd which can collaborate and work effectively and hence, the perception to target any one specialisation has faded.
All candidate get equal employment opportunities here.
