Which college is good among Ramaiah, BIT, JSS and RNSIT.

Blah blah 14th Jun, 2019

Samarth,

I would rate colleges as

BIT MESRA> MS RAMIAH>RNSIT>JSS.

Bit mesra is one of the CFTIS and has great nirf ranking.

It is located in jharkhand which is and industrial area so you get a decent placement.

Last year average package at BIT MESRA was 9.11 lacs per annum more than top nits like TRICHY, WARANGAL, ALLAHBAD.

The next good college is MS ramaiah. Being located In IT hub of country it has access to many UT companies thus has a great placement for IT/CSE branches but not so good for core branches like CIVIL, MECHANICAL.

the average package is 7 lacs.

And then both JSS and RNSIT are good colleges but in terms of placement they are no where near to BIT MESRA AND MS RAMIAH.

they have average package of about 4-5 lacs.

Hope it helps.

My kcet ranking is 37717. Will i get a CS seat at rnsit? I belong to general merit.

Vaishnavi 13th Jun, 2019

Hello niveditha,

Based on cutoff ranks of rnsit in the year 2018 for general merit, am sorry to say that you would not get a cs seat in rnsit for general merit. Cutoff rank was 3789 for cs in the year 2018. But you can still get a cs seat in other good colleges such as cmrit or atme. Good luck!

Should I take ISE in RNSIT or ISE in Nitte minkashi or CSE in CMRIT.

Sree Student Expert 9th Jun, 2019
Hello aspirant!!
CSE and ISE courses are good. But CSE has more demand than any other branch. So I would suggest you  CSE from CMRIT than ISE from Nitte Meenakshi or RNSIT.

can i get a comedk seat in RNSIT with a ranking of 28000 in CSE or ISE branch

s shar 28th May, 2019
Hi,
There are fewer chances of getting the university in the specified branches. As the cut-off is 9972 for CSE and 16805 for ISE.
You can try for other branches for getting into the college.

Can I get a seat of CSE on the basis of comedk

Prashant Gandhi 27th May, 2019

Hi Shilpa,

I think your question is incomplete because obviously, you can get CSE,infact any branch on the basis of COMEDK in Bangalore. All the colleges accepts COMEDK score for admission to different branches. All you need to really worry is the rank you get because you get branch according to your rank and to add up,CSE is the most top-notch branch of every college all over India as it is everyone's first priority. So logically, you need to have a really high score if you want to take up CSE in any college.

Best wishes!

my rank expected in KCET is around 14500-15000 can I get CSE in RNSIT

Akash raichandani 16th May, 2019

Hey prassana ,

previous years maximum closing rank was 3020 for CSE course in RNSIT,  there is a lot of difference between your expected rank and previous year cutoff so you cannot get CSE in RNSIT.

You can check your approximate ranking and probable colleges which you can get by using careers360 rank predictor and college predictor.

You will have to enter the necessary details and predict the rank and college yourself.

Can i get rnsit for civil engg with a ranking of 72000?

Dheeraj Pramod Naik 14th May, 2019
Dear Niveditha,
Hope you are doing well. I would like to inform you that RNSIT is also one of the renowned colleges in Karnataka. That means you need to get good rank to get a seat in this college. Though Civil Engineering does not have competition compared to CS and ECE, even then you need to have a good ranking to get a seat in RNSIT. According to the previous records, if your ranking was around 40,000 to 50,000  then you would have a chance to get Civil Engineering in RNSIT. But I don't think it will be possible unless you belong to other caste except GM. I hope you got the point after reading this answer.

All the best.

Which college can I get for my rank in pgcet 2018for mtech, my rank is 4868,my stream is computer science and I come under SC category

ruchika.chauhan Expert 11th Sep, 2018

Hi Nisarga,
It would be difficult to tell you exactly about the college which you can get as cutoff depends on various factors like Numbers of appeared candidates, difficulty level of exam, Availability of vacant seats, Marking Scheme, Previous years cut off etc. You can refer previous year cutoff to take an Idea about your admission possibilities with the previous year cutoff.

Hope this helps.
Good Luck!
