Robotics
Hello sir,iam also doing be in mechatronics 4th year and appearing in gate EC...have u got the seat? or any other opportunities for mechatronics eng sir?
As per the UGC guidelines, a student can't pursue two full time degree courses simultaneously. So nope! if you are thinking of the two courses simultaneously in regular mode then you will not be able to do that.
Now if you wish to pursue one course in distance education mode then you can go for it.
But as per my opinion if you want to go for Robotics just go for it or if you want to go for physics just go for it. But if you try to learn the both at a same time, then usually you will not be able to understand both the subjects as well. So you will have degree but the understanding will not be upto the mark. So I would say you should pursue one course at a time and learn it to the best level as you can. There are many physicist who works in Cognitive Science and Robotics as well as there are many Robotics engineer who work in the field of Semiconductor Physics, Nanoscience etc. So if you go to higher education your understanding will matter more. So please focus on that.
I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
Dear student,
Yes, after completion of Diploma in Electronics and Computer Science can join Engineering in Robotics. Diploma candidates can join Engineering 2 nd year as lateral entry candidates.
Admission is based on either entrance exam or merit obtained in qualifying exam. Some of the Engineering Lateral Entry entrance exams are TS ECET, Haryana LEET, UPSEE Lateral Entry Exam, AP ECET, etc.
The average fees is Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 3.5 Lakhs per annum.
The candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized Board to be eligible for applying this course.

Hi Aspirant,
There is a huge scope for Robotics in India as well as foreign countries. From research department to manufacture line each and every domain has a huge demand of this skill set. Space research organizations like ISRO, NASA, etc, which makes uses of robotic technology and Artificial Intelligence also provides a great job opportunities to robotics engineers. As long as the demand for automation and robotics will continue the need for these fields' job with a high salary will always be in need and in trend.
Since you have not mentioned what course you are pursuing, I assume if you have not yet graduated you can for BTech in Robotics and Automation or related fields or BSc in Robotics. Or even if you have graduated, you can go for a lots of online courses and tutorials to learn basics of robotics and then with a lots of practice you can master this skill and through these certifications, it could land you in your dream job of robotics too.

Greetings of the day aspirant
Firstly congrats on successful completion of your VITEEE exam. With a rank around 88,000 you can get a seat in VIT Amaravati campus in their Robotics specialisation. Its hard to predict the fee category as cut-off's change every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. Just participate in their counselling process and apply for CSE with specialisation in Robotics.
Hope this helps!!
All the best for your counselling process
Dear Aspirant,
All these branches are interdisciplinary and interdependent for robotics and automation field.Knowledge of all these branches is used and required in automation and robotics. Also there are institutes/colleges which offer special B.Tech programme in Robotics and automation

the cutoff for the course of Robotics Engineering differs from year to year different years, depending on the college you are seeking admission at. There are many reasons such as number of seats available, number of candidates appearing for entrance examination, complexity of the exam etc. Hence it is difficult to provide the exact details on the cutoff. The minimum eligibility to pursue the course is to have a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in 10+2 or an equivalent exam from a recognized board.

Hello Aspirant,
The top colleges offering B.Tech in Robotics engineering in south India are listed below
Hope this helps and Good luck
You can directly go for Robotics and Automation Engineering rather than pursuing any other streams of Engineering. As you have mentioned about your interests , those all are included in Robotics and Automation Engineering as the course subjects includes: Computational Geometry ,Computer-aided Manufacturing, Automation, Biocybernetics, Digital Electronics And Microprocessors, Design And Control, Robot Manipulators, Artificial Intelligence, Signal Processing, Robot Motion Planning, Computer Integrated Manufacturing System, etc.
Refer the link below to access some more information regarding Robotics and Automation courses,
Hope this is resourceful.
All the Best!!!
Hello,
As you want to go for National Institute Of Technology(NIT) which is one of the most demanding Institute in India and it has always been a popular choice for the students and hence for securing admission in any of the NIT you should surely have a quite higher marks so that you can get seat easily. Now as you are looking for Robotics Engineering which is also a Sub-Branch of CSE itself and as you know that for CSE branch the competition is already higher hence, you can get an idea that for Robotics also you have to aim for bigger target. Now the all NIT’s which are their India have a ranking and as we know that some NIT’s are at the top while some are medium level NIT’s because they have been newly build. So it completely depends upon you as if you have aim above 200 than you have good chance of getting any top NIT’s depending on the field you choose and if you settle with a medium score than also you have chance for trying admission in some medium level NIT’s.
Thank you..
