Nikunj kumar Tibrewal 30th Jul, 2020

Dear Sindrella,

Artificial Intelligence  can be defined as the technology that uses computer and its applications to model and/or replicate human behaviour and thought processes. It includes learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using the information), reasoning (using rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions) and self-correction.

Robotics  is a branch of engineering that involves the conception, design, manufacture, and operation of robots.

S. Saha Student Expert 11th Jun, 2020
Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has interdisciplinary PhD programme in Cyber-Physical Systems which is offered by The Robert Bosch Centre. This program basically focuses on Robotics, Connected Autonomous Systems, Socio-Technical Systems etc. But right now there is no program regarding Robotics in Under graduation level. In Ug level, it offers only BS in 6 major disciplines i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Materials, Environmental Science and Physics.

Sir Im NEED TO KNOW BEST OF THE THREE CSE,ECE,EEE. please respond my question. I need to have a career in the field of robotics. please recommend me according to robotics field

Pritam Singh 9th Jun, 2020

Hey there

Different students have different perspective of seeing engineering branches and so interests are different. In the entire engineering branches no one is best and no one is bad the thing is what you like. CSE is mostly on coding so if you are interensting in coding, web development etc then do take the course. ECE is electronics and you should have interest in the semiconductor and devices. EEE is considered toughest of all as it has electronics as well as electrical and so wit electronics subjects you have to study Machines, power system etc.

Good luck

Sir Im NEED TO KNOW BEST OF THE THREE CSE,ECE,EEE. please respond my question. I am interested in robotics.

Hello.
if it is about BTech branch so we talk in terms of placement so here Computer Science and Engineering branch is one of the best branch in majority of institutes and colleges because the higher job opportunities are provided in this field where as electronic and electrical branch  also comes on the same stage because same number of job opportunities are available for this but if it comes to the company so commonly you will see private company/MNC as a good future option with good salary package in CSE but in electrical and electronic branch Government companies are also there which provides you good salary But  in Computer Science and Engineering salary package is quite higher than other.
Best of luck.

I am preparing for jeemain july. I need to join robotics. How much should I score in either marks or percentile to get robotics in any of the Govt Colleges? And the list of Govt Colleges that jeemain for robotics. please do not give any link to search for the list. Provide me top Colleges.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 31st May, 2020

Siri, there are approximately  38 Colleges that offer B.Tech in Robotics Engineering and only one of them is Government College and that is Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute. This is the only one Government College that offers this course. For a seat in this college, you will need atleast 95 percentile irrespective of your Category. This means even if you belong to SC Category, you will still need 95 percentile.

Brother Yash Dev I am preparing for jeemain. I need to join in robotics in any govt Colleges If possible. I am SC CANDIDATE. Now let explain me clearly. I got 86 percentile in January. Not only yash dev brother anybody can give me the suggestion. Please dont regret my question.

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 29th May, 2020
Hello.
First we need to calculate your Approximate all India rank for getting a probable idea about your chances ,ok so it will be calculated using the formula given below:
Approximate Rank= (100-your total score)*869010/100.
Here 869010 is the number of candidate appeared for the January session of exam, now your approximate rank with 86 percentile would be: 121661 it is your approximate common rank it will definitely change according to the fluctuation because it depends upon the number of candidate appeared for the exam, difficulty level of the exam, total seats available.
With your approximate  rank  your chances are very less to get a government college for robotics even for robotics branch you need to have a good rank near about under 10,000 -20,000 (excluding category relaxation) , and your percentile must be 95 + now it depends upon your category so you may consider some relaxation also, there are various government/private colleges which offers robotics branch in BTech you can see  through the below link:
https://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-be-btech-in-automation-and-robotics-colleges-in-india
Now I would suggest you to appear for the July session of exam and improve your percentile and rank if you have registered for it then it's ok and if you haven't registered  so you will have to wait for the next time because application window has been closed now.
for more predictions you can refer the link provided you below and can use the college predictor tool:

Best of luck.
