Robotics
Hello,
Computer science is a branch and robotics is a domain. Btech Computer science has syllabus for basic concepts which is root of machine for automation. It touches few parts which are advanced like DA, AI, Big Data.
Robotics is domain combination of Mechanical engineering (deals with the hardware part and smooth running), electronic engineering (deals with mother board and IC) and computer science (Deals with programming and optimization). You can opt for it as an elective in higher semester. Like 7th or 8th sem.
Later you can make your career in that field.
Hope it helps!
Hey
Robotics as a stand alone B.Tech degree is not offered in a lot of colleges in India, you can take up bachelors in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Science degree, and do some extra courses to make a good foundation.
Then you can go abroad for a Masters or specialisation in Robotics. You can find the list of collges in India offering B.Tech/M.Tech in Robotics and automation here

Hi
Robotics as a separate branch is not taught in any NIT in India. However, you can always pursue it as an additional course, or go for a specialisation in robotics after B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Science Engineering. This is very popular abroad. Please go through the following link https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-nits
to get a complete idea of the percentile you would require to get a particular branch at a particular NIT. Hope this helps!
Hello.

Hope my answer helped you.
Hello Aspirant,
As we know that NIT Trichy is one of the top and prestigious NITs of India and therefore there is huge competition between candidates to get into it. If you want to enter into NIT Trichy and want to go with Robotics branch so you should go with ICE branch because NIT Trichy does not offers ant robotics branch but you can learn about robotics in ICE branch, for this you should try to score more than 250 marks out of 300 in JEE-Main.

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
For the majority of people, it makes more sense to spend your time to become a Web Developer over a Data Scientist because
With Data Science, it’s much harder to see the practical use of your job because
Now, I won’t lie. The extra $30k per year does sound nice on the Data Science side but it’s not all about the money. Pick the career option that is going to be the most fulfilling in your life!
Electrical Engineering is a proper field to get into Robots in future. You will be able to make such instruments and appliances while studying BTech. Some of the top NITs for electrical engineering are -
