hello aspirant,
I hope that you are doing absolutely great. With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that Yes, there is no Gate paper on Robotics and automation.
So, if you are interested going in to this field, then I have a solution for you. What you can do is that you can write the GATE paper in mechanical Branch. After that according to your gate score you can choose institutions for M. Tech in Robotics.
Below are the list of top Mtech colleges in India for Robotics. you can follow the link to know more:

I hope that this will help.
Hi aspirant,
See Computer Science and Engineering is a very vast subject and consists of many languages and new technologies being added with respect to time. That means you would study the basics of programming definitely which consist of programming languages like Python, C, C plus plus ,Java, JavaScript, HTML and many others. Now talking about the best specialisation in this field, you should go with computer science and engineering in core branch this is because then you can choose the path of your interests with respect to time. That means you would not be bounded to study a particular specialisation and if you don't like one you can switch to other or learn multiple skills at a time. Now let's suppose that you choose artificial intelligence as your specialisation and you don't like the subjects due to mini complex algorithms then also you would have to study this for the entire 4 years and that is not case when you are in the core branch. But since you have asked in a particular order I would rank them as follows:
After this you can prepare any specialisation which meets your interests.
Hope it helps!
Hi,
Hope you are doing great.
EEE(Electronics and Communication Engineering) or ECE( Electrical and Electronics Engineering) both are good branches to pursue. Those who are interested in Electronics generally get confused between the two courses. Let me talk about EEE first, in this, students have to study electricals as well as electronics. This course contains basic electronic courses and more power systems. And on the other hand, students have to study electronics as well as some part of the communication system, it contains basics on electrical machines and more on integrated circuits and communication systems. This has a major focus on semiconductors, transistors, microprocessors, etc while EEE has subjects on motors, Transformers, Gridlines, etc. So, both the courses are good. Choose it according to your interest where it lies.
It depends on other factors also like for which college you are going for, whether that college has good faculties or not, which stream has better placement in that college. So you have to select a particular course by keeping all these things in mind.
Hope this helps.
Hello aspirant,
I hope that you are doing absolutely great.
With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that there are lot many skills required for Ms in Robotics and automation . While a career in robotics requires knowledge of popular programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and Java , there are some key differences between programming for robotics and programming to develop software or mobile applications.
Some of the core skills that are needed in these fields are :
