Hello,

I took COMEDK exam for entrance into RV college of engineering i scored well in the exam ,it was an online exam across all over the country (held online first time).I secured 143/180 in comedk exam and got 314 rank on general category basis i had a simple goal to get into rvce if I wasn't able to take cse as a branch in any of the top 6 nits or iits .And luck followed my way,I didn't get cse branch in any of the iits and got cse in nit ,Patna .So,in the counselling for colleges under comedk I got cse branch in rvce.

I think it will help you.

rvce bangalore or manipal jaipur wchich is best ?

Kirti 8th Aug, 2020

I think RVCE banglore is better than Manipal.

  1. Fee structure of RVCE is very less as compared to Manipal.
  2. RVCE is one of the top colleges in Bengaluru.
  3. Due to its location exposure and opportunities of off campus placement is more in RVCE.
  4. Average package in Manipal is 3-4 lakhs whereas for RVCE is 6-7 lakhs. (Cse)

FEES at RV COLLEGE for CSE branch

LALIT 15th Jul, 2020

RV college is one of the reputed and famous colleges in india. It has decent ranking of 70 (nirf ranking). It has a very good placement record also many companies recruit from here. If we talk about fees of btech computer science engineering, it costs you around INR 3.90 Lakh for complete course.

for MTECH Computer Science which priority should I follow? Daiict, nirma, rvce, pec chandigarh. [Note : Please guide with respect to MTECH only, not Btech]

Sk Student Expert 2nd Jul, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Let us put on record the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking for 2020 for the colleges you have selected:

  • DAIICT – 111 from 91 in 2019

  • NIRMA – 131 from 136 in 2019

  • RVCE – 70 from 63 in 2019

  • PEC – 93 from 78 in 2019

So, all of them are among the top colleges in India. When you look at the syllabus the most robust was RVCE and a more progressive seems to be DAIICT.  The other two are more traditional but less robust. We suggest you look at the all their syllabus and then make a decision taking into account the faculty – look at their published papers.

Good Luck

lakshita shaan 1st Jul, 2020

hey,

as per the student's verified we can state that the placements of RV college , mysore is quite good, placements is very much active and make tremendous efforts to get their student placed , this claims 100 percent placements and more than 50 percent of the students get placed in core companies, highest package they offer is 11 lakhs per annum and average and lowest ranging in between 6 to 7 lakhs per annum, many top firms like TATA , schnieder electric, exon mobilus , honda, bosch etc visit college and recruit students in bulk.

overall placements are too good for mechanical engineering.
