I got kcet 732 rank I am now alloted pes cse in 1st round can I get rvce cse in 2nd round I cat 3AR mention what I have to do with date

Dhruv Anurag 3rd Jul, 2019

Greetings to you,

There is no specific cut-off declared for 3AR category by KCET counselling authorities. Thus, you will be alloted seat in RVCE through general category quota. So, as per your rank in KCET 2019, you are likely to get a seat in CSE branch of RVCE, Bangalore. Last year, RVCE's CSE branch closed at 975 for general category. Hence, I suggest you to wait for the second round cut-off and then look forward to make a final decision. Good luck.

In bangalore between rvce ise and pesu cse which is best in terms of placements

yadvi Student Expert 28th Jun, 2019
Hii Nishchal,

Computer Science engineering and Information science engineering are more or less similar in terms of course structure except for some subjects. CSE at RV College of  Engineering, Bangalore is undoubtedly one of the best options one can choose. CSE at RVCE is great, both in terms of academics and placements. Choosing your branch should be your choice so choose wisely.

As you might already know,RVCE and PESU are considered to be top institutions in Bangalore with equal opportunities. So if you are focusing on settling down in your career after 4 years of engineering and given that you are choosing CSE you can be assured of getting placed unless you perform really bad.

Both the College offers equal opportunities nd placements but companies visit first RVCE , bag talent and then go elsewhere.

RVCE CSE/ISE branch placements have been excellent so far and there are few students who even got pay package over 15 lakh.

But as far as placement grabbing is concerned, college provides training and practical skill veey efficiently to the students but your  skills matters a lot for placement.

It totally upon you to grab the  opportunities around you.

Hope the answer is helpful.

Good luck!

In rvce bangalore between ise and ece which is best in terms of placement

Vaishnavi 28th Jun, 2019

Hello aspirant,

Rv college happens to be the top engineering college in Karnataka after NIT surathkal.

Consider yourself lucky if you are getting a seat for main branches there. And talking about ise or ece , both are trending branches and have equall importance in the industrial field. Ise offers highest placements whereas ece has nearly the same offer but option to continue in hardware or software field. People of ece can attend interviews of ise people but vive versa is not possible. So i say that both the branches are very good in terms of placements but only getting good job is your priority then go for ise in rvce as it has 100% percent placement. Many compamies such as Google, amazon, sap laps, Ford, Sony, Intel, wipro etc with average payments of 5-8lpa. Goof luck!

Rv college of engineering (Instrumentation Technology) vs VIT chennai (CSE).. Placement wise plz

anask6281_9570919 Student Expert 27th Jun, 2019
Hello Raghav,
The instrumentation texhnology department of RV college of Engineering has a very high placement rate around 98%-100% placement.
However, The package of instrumentation engineering is less than computer science and IT dept.
The companies visit RV college of engineering for recruitment are YOKOGAWA,TCE,ITC PAPER,BOSCH,ASIAN PAINTS,RELIANCE ENERGY,SAIPEM and NAUVATA.

Also,  the placement of CSE branch at VIT Chennai is fantastic for B.tech course.if a student is good at coding then he can be placed in companies like DeSHAW,FLIPKART,CODENATION,etc with a minimum package of atleast 6 L.p.a.

Hope this may help you.
