There is an official notification that says that Medical Exam will be conducted between February 20th to March 10th. Yes,mostly the interview is taken by principle.And the objective of the interview is to check the education level of parents and student.If the parents are good in English or even in English speaking,then only the seat will be provided to the student in that school.

There are 27 sainik schools in India but for girls there are 3 sainik schools as follows:
1. Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey UP Sainik School, Lucknow
Eligibility:
(i) Father of candidate must be a domicile of UP.
(ii) Female candidates are eligible for Class 9th. For example, for session 2020-21 a candidates must have been born not before 02 Jul 2007 and not later than 01 Jan 2010 for Class VII and a candidates must have been born not before 02 Jul 2005 and not later than 01 Jan 2008 for Class 9th.
(iii) Must have passed Class VI and VIII for admission in class VII and IX respectively by 20 May 2020 from a recognized school.

2. Kittur Rani Channamma residential sainik school, Kittur, Karnataka
3. Sainik School Chhingchhip , Mizoram : It takes entrance exam for class 6th.
Note: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has given an approval to admit girls in Sainik schools across the country from the 2021-22 academic session.
So it can be guessed that girls can take admissions in all over 27 Sainik schools across India.

No the exam is in two languages which are English and Hindi. The students are admitted in two classes, which are 6th and 9th. You can download the previous year paper for 6th class admission by following the below link:

The various coaching institutes have released their answer keys like resonance, akash, fiitjee but there can be some discrepancy in their answers. The official answer key would probably be released by nta by the first week or Feb or may be a little bit after that. As previously it was released after one month of examination.

112 is approximately 74%. You haven't mentioned your son's Category. Irrespective of that with 74%, he qualifies in the exam. But with 74%, his chances for a seat are a tad lesser because of the intense competition. But his name might be listed in the waiting list. But please do remember that being listed in the waiting list doesn't confirm a seat.
