The minimum acceptable visual standards will be as under :-Visual Standards
Standard I : Distant Vision (uncorrected) 6/6 (Both eyes)
Standard II : Distant Vision- Better eye 6/18 Worse eye 5/18 Correctable to 6/166/19 The minimum acceptable visual standard for admission to Sainik School will be standard II. Candidates with visual standard II admitted to NDA after successful completion of their training in Sainik School may be found fit for army only.

The last date for submission of online applications for The All India Sainik School Exam (AISSEE) 2021 has been extended. The registration for AISSEE 2021 commenced on October 20 and is scheduled to close on December 3. The scholarship criteria for Sainik school are- Scholarships are awarded to the eligible students whose parents are permanent residents of Meghalaya and whose income falls under Rs. 5,000/- to Rs. 8,000/- p.m. Admission is strictly on the basis of Merit in the Entrance Examination and Medical Fitness, 7% of seats are reserved for S.T. Candidates and 15% for S.C.

If you want your son to get admission into sainik school and he is in 6th class .then admission will not be done because sainik school admission test is conducted only for 6th and 9th class.

However if your son is willing to get admission then he has 2 options either he Get admission and repeat his 6th class in sainik school or or he can give admission test in 8th class  and get admit into 9th class in sainikSchool.

Sainik School Admission 2022 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the AISSEE 2022 application form in October 2021 (tentative). Students can complete the Sainik school admission process online from aissee.nta.nic.in. To submit the Sainik school admission online application 2022, students need to upload all required documents.

Eligibility for Sainik School admission 2022 for Class 6

Boys whose age is between 10 and 12 years as on March 31, 2022

Students should be studying in Class V in a recognized school

Eligibility for Sainik School admission 2022 for Class 9

Boys who have an age between 13-14 years as on March 31, 2022

Students should be studying in Class VIII in a recognized school..

NTA conducts the examination called AISSE which is the All India Entrance for Sainik School. The admission test is conducted for admission to the class 6 and Class9. There are no eligibility criteria except the age limit. For class 6 the age must be in the range  10-12 years, as on March 31, 2021 & for class 9 the age must be in the range 13-15 years, as on March 31, 2021. The registration for the examination is expected to be from October,2021(Tentative). The examination is conducted once a year.

Sainik School takes the medical tests very seriously. The degree of flatness matters to be eligible for Sainik School. Now as you said, your son has a minor flat foot, such type of problems can be easily overcome by performing certain exercises like walking on toes and calf stretches. All the videos that you can see on YouTube work perfectly fine but at times we make one major mistake of overdoing these exercises and not giving rest to our feet. So, do consult a physiotherapist and everything will be just fine.
