In a library, 40% of the books are in english, 30% of the remaining books are in hindi, one-fifth of the remaining books are in sanskrit and the remaining 1680 books are in other Indian languages. How many books are there in the library?

SAKSHI KULSHRESHTHA 7th Dec, 2019

40% books are in English and 30% are in Hindi.

Of the remaining 30%, one- fifth or 6% books are in Sanskrit.

Now remaining 24% of total books = 1680, according to the question.

Hence total number of books = 1680x100/ 24 = 7000 books.
