Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Mumbai
Hello,
1. St. Francis Institute of Technology Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities are very good. It Ranked 22 for 50 B.Tech Colleges in Mumbai University.
2. It's comparision with other colleges is quite difficult because all colleges are good. Some features of this college:
Location: travelling is not an issue, frequency of buses and auto-rickshaws are good.
Attendence: its compulsary to maintain 75% attendance
Faculty: it is quite good. you may find best faculty and best study material here.
Studies: if you are more study oriented then this is the best place for you!
Infrastructure: bit old fashioned but well maintained and kept clean.
Extra curricular activities: many clubs in which you can take part.
fests and events: a lot of events held in this college.
3. SPIT: good infrastructure, faculty, placements and facilities.
highest package offered is of 42 lakhs per annum and average package offered is 10.50 lakh per annum. Its recruiter companies are microsoft, jio, seclore, bharat electronics, kotak, just dial and more.
DJ Sanghvi: it is among the best 3 engineering college in mumbai metro region and among top 100 engineering colleges in India. It has very good facilities, infrastructure and placement opportunities.
Almost every student gets placed in the companies like morgan stanley, jpmorgan, cimpress, accolite, jiosaavn, L&T, visible alpha, infosys dream, TCS ninja and many more.
Highest package: 20.4 lakhs
Average package: 6.60 lakhs
Thodomal: it has outstanding extra and co curricular activities, but it lacks in infrastructure and faculty. many fest and events are organized. placements are also good in this college. the list of recruiters is: duestche bank, jp morgan, deloitte india, deloitte usi, UBS, LTI, TCS, infosys, seclore, accenture, zycus, hexaware and many more.
Highest package: 19.63 lakh
Average package: 7-8 lakh
So, according to me you should prefer SPIT.
4. EWS (economically weaker section): Candidate’s annual family income must be less than Rs. 8 lakhs per annum. Their family must not own more than 5 acres of agriculture land. The residential flat area should be below 1000 sq ft.
TFW (tution fee waiver): Only those candidates who have an annual family income lesser than Rs. 6 Lakh from all possible sources are eligible to apply through the TFWS scheme.
I hope this will help you.
Thank You!
Dear applicant firstly warm wishes for getting such a nice seat, when it comes to other options over the option obtained by you, but yes you can update your seat to SPIT as this Institute holds a prestigious position and provides all the necessary facilities to enable you pursue your higher studies. Now when it comes to the streams that you mention, considering the ongoing trends of jobs you can go for Information Technology or Computer Science course with Data Science specialization.
Hope it helps you to choose!!
