compare between NIT durgapur, NIT BHOPAL, NIT SURAT, DTO...will I get into them with civil for 25k rank

Believe me don't gor for NIRF rank, if you are looking for placement. Among these three, don't chose NIT durgapur if you are not from bengal. You may chose NIT Bhopal or NIT Surat,according to other parameters. If you are intrested in CIVIL then only go for it else

Hello Kaushlendra Singh Rathore, If your rank is around 25 thousand, you should take an average NIT with average branch, as there is an option of branch change if you score good then you can change your branch, if you takes an average NIT with average branch then if possible

Hi Kaushlendra,

If you see in terms of faculty then I would suggest you to go for NIT Bhopal because the faculty members are way better then NIT surat at NIT Bhopal.

But if you look for placement then NIT Surat will lead here as the average placement of NIT

There is mixed reviews relates to MANIT Bhopal and SVNIT Surat so basically its 50-50. There is some issues with MANIT hostel life and on the other hand SVNIT has one of the best infrastructure among all the engineering colleges in India including IITs and NITs. MANIT Bhopal

If your ultimate goal is UPSC,then Engineering itself does not really matter. The basic eligibility criteria for UPSC is a graduation degree from any recognized University in India. So,you better pursue the course that drives your interest.

marks required to get good rank in kcet

Hi Gairang,

If you want to do Engineering then you YES board marks are considered.For medical students board marks are not considered. So if you want to get a rank below 1000(which is good rank) then you must score 155+ in KCET and 95%+ in Boards or 165+ in KCET
