Savitribai Phule pune University provide a 5 year bsc degree and you need to get at admission in the first year itself other than that it does  not the student that had completed bsc first year from different institute and want join his 2nd year in the savitribai Phule pune University .It only take the intake one in a year and you should complete the entire duration of 5 years in order to get a bsc degree and if you intend to pursue Msc they do even provide a 2 year Msc degree.I hope this might help you in solving your doubts.

Admission for MSc Biotechnology is done through centralized Combined Entrance Examination (CEEB) which is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University JNU), New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria - Candidates should have passed or appearing for (BSc) are eligible to apply.

After entrance test, merit list is prepared accordingly, candidates need to submit required documents along with course fees within stipulated time.

Now, coming to PhD in Biotechnology, for this PhD entrance test is conducted(PET) by the SDPU, candidates can visit admission portal on official website and fill form, however those who've appeared in SET/NET/GATE do not need to appear for entrance test.
