i wasted so many years in fake Studies for bank preparation last year failed Mains exam of Sbi And rrb bcoz of Not preparing GA now also i am havent t prepared for it .. left with 2.5 months and need to cover 6 months GA is it possible and how ??? i feel suicidal now have last chance i beg us plz

SONDKAR KAUSTUBH DILIP 30th Jun, 2022

Hello Friend,

First of all I really appreciate that you have asked this question. Not many open up and come forward to speak this suffering. After going through your question carefully, I feel that you can definitely come out of this situation as you have poured your heart out and are now ready to change yourself. So first things first, it does not matter that you have wasted many years in fake studies for bank preparation, what matters is if you have realized now that you were faking to study now you can become serious and really study for something which really matters to you. Even 1 year of seriously studying something which matters to you and pulls you is much better than faking to study in something simply because you want status/ respect in society out of the job you will get. The core issue why this is happening with you is because, 1) You don't know why in the first place you are doing what you are doing, 2) You are doing to gain status/respect in society and now you have realized you are not interested in these studies but you value societal status more than your inner well being.

Now you are asking how should you prepare for GA in last 2.5 months left. This  shows that you are stuck in a vicious circle and the more you are trying, the more you are getting stuck.

In the last part you said you are now feeling suicidal. My friend, I know one thing for sure- a person like you who speaks up about what he is suffering on such a big platform is indeed very brave and just needs a bit of support. We all are here to help you. As a friend I would advise you to watch video of "Acharya Prashant" on  youtube. Just search- "Acharya Prashant on career".

In the end we all are here always for your help. Feel free to ask any help. Your are a very brave guy.

Hope to hear from you soon.

after completing class 12th from biology stream did I am eligible for SBI bank job, if yes then can you explain it the post and all?

Anurag Khanna 28th Apr, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Yes definitely you will be eligible but note that you should also have completed graduation in any discipline from any of the recognized university.

See SBI conducts exam for two types of posts one is PO and other is Clerk.

SBI PO is a selection process for the post of Probationary Officer in State Bank of India. It consists of three stages, first stage is of preliminary examination which is only qualifying in nature, second is Mains examination followed by the third stage that is of Interview and the final merit list is prepared on the basis of last two stages. Whereas SBI clerk is conducted for clerical posts and it consists of only prelims and mains examination. There is no interview in SBI clerk.

Now if you are a Biology stream student then also you will be eligible for PO and clerk exam but after completing your graduation because for PO and clerk examinations the candidate should at least have graduation degree from any central/state recognized institution.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SBI PO & CLERK :-

>>>>> Age of the candidate should be in the range of 21-30 years with relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST category and 3 years for OBC category and age limit for SBI Clerk is 20-28 years.

>>>>> The candidate should have at least graduation degree in any discipline including B.Tech./BA/B.Com..... and so on. However the candidates in final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for SBI PO and clerk.

>>>>> For General category maximum number of attempts allowed are 4 for SBI PO and for SBI clerk there is no any limit on number of attempts.

Anurag Khanna 16th Apr, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Ideal age to prepare for banking exams is 19+ because for almost all banking examinations the candidate should have minimum 20 years of age so one should start preparing once he/she becomes 19+.

Now if you want to go for SBI posts then you can either go for SBI PO or SBI Clerk depends upon your eligibility which you can check out from the links given below :-

https://competition.careers360.com/articles/sbi-po-eligibility-criteria

Follow the enlisted preparation tips for SBI posts :-

>>>>>> First of all go through the entire syllabus of SBI PO or Clerk. There are many study materials available on internet. You can take help of video tutorials available free in YouTube.

>>>>>> Read newspaper daily thoroughly for General Knowledge and current affairs. If you find it difficult to study from different books, then make your own notes. This is a good habit, your memory retention will also improve.

>>>>>> Once done with syllabus you can move on to solving mock test, previous year exam papers. Then try to figure out your weak areas and work on them.

I am broken 22 old Failed SBI JA mains, Ibps Prelims, Rrb Mains, Esic Prelims now have no hopes left in me to continue Or start again as i am Weak In English and wasted my 5 years if in 2018 i have Studied English today i had easily cleared the exam now i am 22 old weak in all subject&late to clear

piyush singh 16th Apr, 2022

Hello student!!

In order to clear a banking exam you must have a positive mindset. I would like to tell you that a person never fails an exam either he passes the exam or learn from his mistakes. Since you have appeared for banking exams multiple times and know your mistakes i.e. you are weak in English.

I would suggest you to practice all the subjects side by side and focus more on English. Make a habit of reading English newspaper daily and try to learn new vocabularies everyday and practice mocks twice a week. Within two to three months you will see you are improving with every passing day and a day will come you will see yourself working in prestigious bank which you used to dream of!!!

Hope it helps!!

All the best for your preparation!
