Im expecting total [Part A 97.03 Part B 32 (expecting)] 129 marks in Uceed 2022, I belong to SC category what are my chances to get into any of the IITs, IIIT J?

Muskan Shokeen 30th Jan, 2022

Hello Aspirant.

Hope you are doing well.

There are very less chances of you to get the admission in the seat. But the cut off varies every year so maybe you'll get the admission because cut off depends upon various numbers of factors such as the difficulty level of exams, no of candidates, etc. But the cut off for the reserved category is comparatively low than the cut off of unreserved category.

GOOD LUCK, STAY MOTIVATED AND HOPE THIS HELPS.

Thankyou.

yashraj.2020 26th Sep, 2021

The government has decided to waive in full the annual fees for students from SC/ST, differently-abled and economically weaker sections. No I do not think it would be applicable in the top private colleges.

Hi aspirant,

SC, ST and PWD candidates are exempted from paying the tution fee at the institution. how many sc and st students qualified in neet exam. if sc or st candidates qualified with good Marks more than general candidates, the sc candidates will be treated as general. means of total seat is 100. 85 for general and 15 for sc and sc candidates got marks more than general candidates.

crremyaprasad 21st Oct, 2020

Hello student,

SC  - 40 th percentile, - 20,009

St - 40 th Percentile -8455

Students qualified neet 2020

for the scheduled castes(SC), scheduled tribes (ST), other backward castes (OBC), economically weaker section (EWS) and for candidates with physical disabilities (PwD) for admission to MBBS , BDS and AYUSH courses through NEET 2020 . Candidates who will qualify the entrance test will be invited to participate in the NEET 2020 counselling process where the admission is taken on the basis of NEET 2020 reservation criteria. The reservation criteria of NEET 2020 is applicable on the 15% seats offered in All India Quota. For the 85% state quota seats, each state has its own NEET reservation criteria 2020 which are applicable at the time of state counselling. In addition to that, all NEET seats offered in central/deemed Universities and private colleges are also under the purview of NEET 2020 reservation criteria. To bring the disadvantaged section of the society at a level playing field, the NEET reservation criteria has been brought in effect.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the counselling for 15% seats offered in all government medical colleges except for the state of Jammu and Kashmir. As per the reservation criteria of NEET 2020, out of the total 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates, for ST candidates 7.5 % seats will be kept reserved while 27% of the seats are reserved for OBC candidates. Rest of the unreserved seats will be filled based on the merit achieved in NEET 2020. From the year 2018, states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana also participate in the AIQ counselling. Candidates must note that the remaining unreserved seats are filled on the basis of merit secured in NEET result 2020.

hope this will help

Thank you

My NEET 2020 score is 436 I belongs to OEC category (OEC get unavailed seat of SC and ST students) Can I get Seat in Government Medical College through this category in State Quota ?

Anurag pal Student Expert 15th Oct, 2020

Hey dear, cutoff changes every year, if you see the last year's cutoff which went very high that even students getting 500 marks were unable to get a govt. Mbbs college. So, with 436 marks it is quite difficult to get mbbs govt. Seat in aiq counselling, although, you may have chances under state quota, so just stay tuned to the counselling.
