Yes , it is recognized by many universities across the country. But in my opinion there will always be some institutions that do not accept an open school certificate. It’s better to go to a full time school than an open school.

Now-a-days, becoming a teacher in high school requires masters degree in the subject you want to teach. For becoming a physics teacher you would need a masters degree in physics along with B.Ed. B.Ed is now compulsory for all the high school teachers.
