my daughter kcet 21,bsc agriculture rank is 16782,comes under 2AH category have and also agriculture quota also have, any chance to bsc agriculture seat r horticulture seat

Sree Student Expert 9th Oct, 2021

Hello,

It is difficult to get predict because cut-offs changes from year to year. But based on previous year's Closing Ranks, your daughter has less chanches of getting B.Sc Agriculture in good Colleges for your daughter's KCET Rank. So give a try by applying for counselling and if won't get seat through Counselling then try for Management quota seats.

You can predict Colleges your daughter can get for her KCET Rank using below mentioned College Predictor Tool.

in ipu is sliding round the 4th round or it comes after that?

Ketaki Dhotre Student Expert 2nd Oct, 2021

Dear,

No, In subsequent rounds (from 1st round to 3rd Round) you have choices of college. If you are not satisfied with Round 1 allotment then you go for Round 2. But in sliding round, your seat will be upgraded but on the basis of availability of vacant seats in other colleges. So, it is different from other rounds and that’s why it is called Sliding Round. The sliding round shall be based on the preferences already entered by the candidates in the online counselling system on the basis of merit of the candidates.

Hope this helps!

I want to ask that if a student who comes under obc but toppes the neet exam... does he/she will be considered under obc only or he/she is going to get admission under open category as he/she has scored heightest marks among all the student... please answer

Anurag Khanna 2nd Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

It does not matter whatever marks you have scored because if you belongs to General category then also you will be considered as topper if you have scored highest marks and if you belongs to any of the reserved category like OBC in your case, so you would be considered as overall topper as well as topper in your OBC community as well. And if you belongs to OBC category then you will definitely be allotted seats of OBC quota only not that of open quota.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
