Hey,
Sorry to say but this is not true. The SBC is a special backward class category and EWS stands for economically backward class.
Both are different as SBC includes seven category from different sources where as EWS category includes people who belong to economically weaker section.
You will considered as EWS if you are economically weak. But SBC category is not ok the basis of financial weakness.
So if you have filled wrong kindly correct it.
Hope that helps.
Thank you.
Hello Anushree,
BA (hons) in Psychology and BA (hons) in Applied Psychology are both highly valued psychology courses. Now comes the difference, though both of them have the same syllabus but in BA psychology you are inclined towards more of theoretical knowledge and in BA applied psychology, along with theory there is field experience and real experiments which makes the understanding better.
However, in order to be able to connect more to the society, and have some practical experience, students are inclined towards BA in applied psychology.
Talking about the job opportunities, in order to become a psychologist, or even a counsellor, it is mandatory to have a masters degree. In the post graduation level, the course remains the same irrespective of whether you have done BA in applied psychology or BA in psychology. Some of the branches which you can choose for the post graduation level are cognitive psychology, clinical psychology, counselling psychology and many more.
Other career options,
Basically, in future it would not matter if you take BA Applied psychology or BA psychology, the difference lies only in the practical and theory part i.e. on the way that both courses are designed. Other that that, both of them have vast number of career opportunities.

Hello Aspirant,
If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your brother's CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 65984 - 74175 , you can check out marks Vs CRL ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile
Or
You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that :-
Closing OBC rank for NIT Trichy was :-
And his OBC rank is expected to be around 17000-18000
So on such rank and category he has very less chances to get NIT Trichy with CSE branches even if he deserves Home state quota.
But yes if he improves his percentile in any further session of JEE-Main like around 96+ then you might have a shot at NIT Trichy.
You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

Hello aspirant, first of all I would like to congratulate you for deciding a career that you want to pursue in future as many students just go with the flow till colleges and then realize their interests. IIT is not the only way to become a computer network analyst. For being a successful computer network analyst you need to get a bachelors degree from any good universities which may be IIT, NIT, IIIT, GFTI or even good private universities offer best learning environment. IITs are the best public engineering institutes of India but they are not the only option.
Computer network analyst generally falls under IT branch but some colleges offer CSE specialization with Network analysis. For admission in IIT,NIT,IIIT or GFTI you have to qualify JEE mains exam and for IIT JEE Advanced exam. After getting a bachelor's degree from a good college you can obtain certification like CCNA which is Cisco Certified Network Associate . Get a lot of work experience and learn new technologies.
BEST OF LUCK!!
hi,
see generally food technology course is more practical and industry oriented course. in food science the syllabus includes food engineering, bio chemistry, food microbiology, preservation etc. whether food technology course is more inclined to the production of food, Food industry waste management, food fermentation technology etc. so before applying to any of the recruitment process go through the details about eligibility criteria, course details to ensure that you are eligible or not.
hope you get my point.
Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned you have got 72k rank in viteee 2021 and as you know the category will be 4 and the tuition fees will be high and that is 4.48L, so see in 72k nobody gets cse branch in vit vellore main campus and I don't think you have very good chances in vit chennai too for cse.
Within 50k the cse branch gets filled uptill category 5 in vit vellore,so if you want badly then you have to go through management quota.
But in vit chennai there is good chances for you to get electronics and maybe ece also.
For cut offs you can check out the link given below-
